OMS (formerly the Oriental Missionary Society, now OMS International) missionaries first came to the Philippines in 1983 with the goal of spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Filipinos through church planting, evangelism and theological education. A few months later several Bible studies were begun and these same groups then gathered together for Sunday worship. Since 1984 Faith Fellowship has served as one of God's vessels to bless hundreds of needy people. In time additional churches were also planted and thus Faith Evangelical Churches of the Philippines, Inc. (FECPI) was formed. To train additional workers for new churches, in 1989 OMS in partnership with FECPI, founded Faith Bible College, opening with an initial class of 12 students.
FAITH BIBLE COLLEGE exists for the purpose of training Filipino men and women to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and to become Spirit-filled leaders of the Church.
FAITH BIBLE COLLEGE is an evangelical institution committed to the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition. It is strongly committed to evangelistic outreach, the building of a national church, and the training of church leaders. |
