"MAGIC STAR?!!??!?!???!?" cried all of the patrons of the Brush Me Beautiful Boutique simultaneously.

"But Magic Star is engaged!" protested Art Time.
"Even with all that fur . . ." Gypsy began, but she trailed off as Twist entered the room.  Gypsy flashed her a toothy smile.
Fizzy sank to the floor in despair. "What are we going to do? Magic Star loves Barnacle.  No question.  They've been engaged for months and have been dating forever."
"Poor Tex!" sobbed Heart Throb, moved at the terrible scenario of unrequited love.
Curly Locks smoothed out a long, flowered dress on a hanger.  "Well, my dears, someone just has to talk some sense into him.  That's all there is to it."
"Who, Curly Locks?" questioned Art Time. "One of us, you mean?"
"Well, anybody really . . ." Curly Locks looked at Fizzy, hoping for a heroic volunteer.
"Not Gypsy." said Heart Throb flatly.
"I wasn't planning on it, friend!" Gypsy tossed the statement over her shoulder.

After only a few minutes of discussion, Fizzy found the whole company looking at her.  "Oh please, not me, guys.  I'm no good with . . . well . . . you know, confrontation, and that kind of stuff."

"It was your idea, Fiz," encouraged Art Time. "And you and Tex are so close."
"Because we used to go out!  It will look terrible if I confront him!" Fizzy cried in protest.
Curly Locks monumentally ended the discussion. "Fizzy, you are nominated, dear one.  Good luck!"

With an air of foreboding doom, Fizzy slunk out of the boutique.
