Back in 2009 Fifteen genetically engineered soldiers tried to make it out of the facility that they were held captive in. They were nine years old and although some made it to the fence and freedom, some didn't and some didn't make it out alive.
Max, X5- 452, is one of those who didn't make it out. She was recapured and had to endure hell at the hands of those who thought of her as a traitor to her unit.
Max endured all manner of torture and pain at their hands and fought back, unbroken, waiting silently for her chance to beat them all and prove them wrong.
