| Nyx is a sixteen year old X6 who chose her name because in mythology Nyx (nite) was born out of Khaos. She is very serious and has good common sense Possibly a Squad Leader or commanding officer back at Manticore but she is reluctant to talk about herself. No one knows why she ended up without her unit. Gets on well with Isacar but is frustrtaed by Icarus's constant chatter. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Thirteen year old Isacar is brother of Icarus but has a very different personality. Initially injured and abadoned by his Unit back at Manticore's destruction he rallies immediately and becomes part of the family. His dry wit and sardonic manner have Flex in stitches and is always welcome although it gets him into trouble more often than not. He has a great love of books. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Isacar's twin sister, Icarus, is a bright, sunny young girl who is friendly and ready to talk. Almost too much. She seems to be too cheerful and innocent for someone who came out of Manticore and some wonder if she isn't hiding something under that pretty blonde facade. A lover of making people smile, Icarus chooses to be the peace-maker of the group and delights in cooking for the 'family'. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Zephyr, or Zeph, is a 9 year old dynamo. He can blur faster than anyone and is a bundle of pure energy. This makes him a welcome addition and ensures that he is adored by all. He seems to have developed something of a fixation on Skye and goes out of his way to make her smile. A questioning soul, he delights in knowing the why's and wherefore's of everything. Was already going on missions before Manticore burned down. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Galen is a second generation X8 who was only in Manticore two years before it blew up. Unready for the horrific images, Galen hasn't spoken a word since he saw Steve, his protector, gunned down in front of him. At six years old, he is the youngest of the new family and clings to Skye as much as she clings to him. As yet they are inseparable. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
