Windtaker

he took my wind,my lightning bearer.
he drank in the pool of my inner truth,
i let him.
i was not weary, for he was kind and true
i was happy for more than just a while.
yet he took my wind, my lightning bearer.
i let him.
for i thought having him
was enough wind to keep me alive.
and i was, for more than just a while.
he chose to love him still, my lightning bearer
who took more than what was allowed.
i started dying a goddess.
wind taker flew away with the clouds
there was nothing left of me
for my wind has gone.
shadowcast in darkness,
i started dying a goddess.
and would give anything
to look into my windtaker's eyes.
i would choose to be a mortal
and die once more.
lightning bearer, sit on the moon
throw me a star.
