Opposites Attract

you and i, we're worlds apart
i knew i couldn't trust my heart with you
no matter how much
i wanted it to work
i knew right from the start
it was impossible

it wasn't hard to fall for you
you were the exact one i wanted
it wasn't easy to tell the truth
you were the exact kind i was scared of
we were not the same
i knew right then
it was impossible

but just the same, you stayed with me
even when i was at my worst
it's hard to believe we would live through
those days of impossibility
from now on, i won't lose faith
never say never,
you were worth the wait
you proved me wrong
you let me know
that nothing is
impossible.
