Faye Milligan was an actress, comedienne, writer, director, singer, sister and aunt. She never married or had children except her two little doggies, Peanuts |

and Tuppence.But one thing everyone who knew Faye would agree on was that she was a very happy person. |

|
|
Self-taught performer, Faye who appeared in TV shows including Taggart and The Steamie and several commercials including Knorr stock cubes and British Midlands airway. She spent most of her time and energy however in her favourite place, Craigmillar where she was the main pillar in the Craigmillar Festival Society where she managed to put on plays on a shoestring budget and obtain grants for the arts in the area. |

Faye was never stuck for enthusiam and raw materials, her nephews and nieces often appeared in plays and before them her 4 sisters and 1 brother as well as many of the residents of the Craigmillar area and occassionally the odd celebrity would help a hand. But even though she had family to lend a hand,they were never given prefferential treatment, you won your part by your own merits. |

| Her enthusiasm for acting forced her to apply for and win a three month course at the world renowned La Commedia del`Arte theatre school in Italy in 2001 where she met many new friends and learned about the art of comedy which she brought back to Craigmillar to teach to her friends and colleagues in the drama world |
