Faye left to go on holiday for Gran Canaria on Sunday evening and spent a great fortnight in the Spanish resort. Like Faye at her best she leered at the waiters, pinching their bums, and loved the artists on stage singing and dancing as they do, Showaddywadyy was a firm favourite. |

and of course she would have loved the strippers, she took 8 pictures from a 36 spool of just strippers, male of course |

But Faye, her friend Jackie and Jackie`s daughter and her friend had a ball, 4 women in a foreign country with all those guys and their own pool!!!! |

Faye would regularly leave Jackie and the kids in town and go back to the room to do some cross-stitch, her hobby, and make supper or a drink for the others coming home. |

On Friday 3rd October Faye left the three girls around about 11pm, to go back to their room, they would follow shortly. Around 2am, the girls arrived to find the house locked up, all the windows downstairs closed, unusual for Faye, as she had to open them regularly for fresh air. Jackie remembered she had not locked the patio doors on the balcony and her daughter tried to climb a tree to get in, a good 30feet up. A passer by was asked to help and he climbed a little then pushed the girl the rest of the way, she got in and opened the door for the others. |

Faye was lying on the floor, face down, with a broken glass beside her. While Jackie checked for pulses etc, her daughter ran for help. Within 10 mins poaramedics arrived and said very little, then an English doctor arrived, Jackie asked if they needed an ambulance but the doctory confirmed that Faye was dead. They turned her over to find a spot of blood on her lip, she had bitten her tongue as she fell. |

It took a few hours for them to remove the body,Jackie kept re-entering the room, hoping for Faye to sit up and shout, "See told you i could act!!", but it didn`t happen. In the morning, Jackie found a braiding she recognised as Fayes, lying on the floor...then her crystal that she always wore was outside on a bush, that had been flattened but was ok the day before. The receptionist said she saw Faye stumble outside her door, but she thought she was drunk, she must have gone indoors and died while getting a drink of water. |

The post mortem was done in Spain on the Monday, and it was concluded that it was a heart attack. The death certificate was then sent with the body back to Britain and it arrived on Thursday Midnight at Manchester and then sent to Edinburgh, the undertaker decided that Faye was not presentable enough to be seen, the casket had to remain closed, her mother couldn`t see her to say goodbye.The certificate was sent to the Scottish Office who had to translate it and confirm that it was happy with the results before the body was released on Tuesday 14th , the funeral was now set for Saturday, a fortnight after her death. After being cremated Fayes ashes will be spread in her favourite place, Craigmillar Castle, she said one day when she was famous she would own it, it didnt quite work that way but she will be raid to rest there, the final curtain falls on Faye Milligan. |
