Severe diarrhoea after taking a pill
If you're either on the combined pill or the progestogen-only
pill, and you had severe diarrhoea after taking the pill:
- If severe diarrhoea occurs <4h, the pill may not be completely
absorbed, therefore, continue taking
the pills daily at the usual time, and let your husband use condom during the period of diarrhoea
and for 14 days after (or abstinence).
