Jan Delgado's win over Miriam Gaiman had naturally raised the interest of FAWN fans, especially when it was announced her next opponent would be Kiora Donavon. It was wildly rumored among FAWN fans that there was "something going on" between Gaiman and Donavon, though no one could really say what it was. Certainly Donavon's defeat and humiliation of Gaiman's "plaything" (at least that's what many fans whispered) Sophie Mitchell, seemed to be pointing to some future clash. However first would come this match with Kiora taking on the woman who had defeated Miriam and the lucky North Dakota fans settled in their seats as the bell rang and the two wrestlers began to circle each other.
Kiora was wearing a shabby ROLLING STONES t-shirt, rippled and tattered jeans and dirty-looking athletic shows. She had made her entrance to Mick Jagger's blaring vocals of "I CAN'T GET NO SAT... TIS... FAC... TION..." and indeed, she looked unsatisfied as she examined the ringside for any sign of Miriam Gaiman and saw nothing.
Jan Delgado was wearing a bright orange t-shirt with black revolutionary fist on it with the slogan: FIGHT THE POWER and a simple pleated plaid micro-mini shirt from which sharper-eyed fans could glimpse black bikini briefs. Simple black tennis shoes had completed the ensemble. Jan had made her entrance to "Goodies" by Ciara.
Jan looked tense. She was well aware of Donavon's penchant for humiliating her beaten opponents and she was determined not to be her next victim.
Suddenly, Kiora lashed out with a kick that caught Jan solidly on knee. She let out a yelp of pain and lashed back with a European uppercut as Kiora tried to close in for a follow-up. It was a well-aimed shot and caught Kiora by surprise. She reeled back Jan rushed in with a series of punches to Kiora's body. Still stumbling, Kiora tripped and fell hard on her back. With a wild war cry, Jan leaped upwards and came down in a flying dropkick that caught Kiora in the ribs as she tried to roll over on left side. Jan then grabbed Kiora's arm and applied a snap mare. Kiora crashed onto the mat, but rolled quickly and was back on her feet before Jan could try anything else. Kiora's sharp eyes had detected someone approaching the ringside and suddenly her whole attitude changed.
"Not bad," Kiora said in an off-handed way, "but this is how you REALLY do an attack."
What followed left the crowd nearly as stunned as the unfortunate Jan Delgado. First, Kiora charged forward, while Jan was desperately trying to figure out what to counter--Kiora simply rammed the palm of her hand into Jan's throat. Jan collapsed to her knees gagging and looking plaintively at the referee who seemed busy talking to someone who had just come down to ringside.
(Though Jan was soon much too busy to notice--those fans nearest the ringside saw that the referee was telling a woman in a hood to keep her distance. The woman threw back the hood and fans saw the familiar pale face and red hair of Miriam Gaiman. If she argued with the ref, no one heard it, though some thought they heard her whisper: "I think there's a fight going on in there⦠maybe you better check it out.")
The negligent referee spun around and there was indeed a fight going on inside his ring, but a pretty one-sided one at that. Once Kiora had Jan on her knees with that palm to the throat, she was on the smaller woman like a cat seizing a mouse. The fans were treated to a virtual Suplex Clinic. Poor Jan was slammed by a German suplex, a belly to belly suplex and a spectacular vertical suplex.. Jan was left quivering on mat, but Kiora with a nod in Miriam's direction, dragged Jan to her feet.
Kiora drove her knee into Jan's crotch a number of times, the abused Jan tried to form herself into a standing fetal position, but Kiora simply hoisted her into what became a driving inverted DDT. Jan lay quivering on the mat and Kiora walked around her like a predator waiting to finish her prey. She looked over at Miriam, but Gaiman's face was elaborately blank. Then she put a hand to her face and yawned.
Oddly enough, Kiora seemed to find this funny. She laughed and dragged Jan to her feet. Delgado suddenly lashed out with a quick series of punches to Kiora's womanhood. Donavon seemed to draw in her breath, but that was all. Jan had stumbled backwards trying desperately to pull herself together. She could see in Kiora's eyes that something really bad was going to happen if she didn't.
Kiora remained stationary just long enough for Jan to risk everything on a desperate flying crossbody block. Considering the amount of punishment she had absorbed, Jan executed the move quite well. The only problem was that Kiora timed the move and stepped aside at the last minute so that Jan crashed heavily, but uselessly into the canvas.
Kiora then charged over and began kicking Jan's back. Then as Jan blindly tried to get to her feet, she seized her by the hair and set her up for a reverse neckbreaker. Once again Jan was left quivering on the mat, but Kiora seemed ready to end it. She kneeled down beside Delgado and hoisted her up into a half nelson while grabbing her neck with the other. All she had to do was slowly squeeze, but as she did, she began to sing in a surprisingly sweet voice:
"Lullaby and a good night..."
So it was that the FAWN fans of North Dakota became the first to see Kiora Donavan employ "The Lethal Lullaby". She gently sang the song while slowly choking Jan Delgado. The crowd became so awed that it fell silent as Kiora finished and so, for that matter was Jan Delgado. The referee who had seemed mesmerized by the whole performance finally thought to raise Jan's arm three times. He got three limp responses and called for the bell as he declared Kiora the winner.
Kiora got to her knees. She was still looking over at Miriam who now at showed mild interest in the proceedings. Kiora tore the orange t-shirt off Jan, then her pleated plaid skirt, and then her black briefs. Jan was now left naked but for her tennis shoes.
Kiora neatly folded the skirt, the t-shirt and even the panties. Then she got up and walked over to Miriam. She held them out. Miriam gave her a disdainful look and turned away. Kiora merely shrugged then walked to the other side of the ring and threw the garments into the crowd. Naturally, this set off a frenzy as fans fought for the garments which quickly became mere scraps.
Kiora was headed for the exit, but she saw Jan Delgado dazedly being helped to her feet by the ref. Kiora marched over, shoved the ref aside and slapped Jan hard in the face. Then she turned on her heel and marched away.
Jan simply sagged into the arms of the referee. Dazed as she was she knew she had just suffered the most humiliating experience of her short FAWN career.
THE WINNER: KIORA DONAVON.
