Lindsay Locke & Kylie Sanders vs East/West

The arena comes to life with the hammering beat of Jay-Zs Threat. As the people come to their feet, red fireworks explode near the top of the ramp. The smoke clears and two female forms stand by the top of the ramp. The taller one holds her right hand in the air, pointing upwards. The smaller one leans against her partner, her arms folded across her waist. The lights go up and we see that it is the tag team known as East/West.

The two women give each other a look and a nod and start to walk to the ring. The Japanese lady Kimiko The Eastern Star Yamashida wears a sports bra style top with black designs on it, and a matching pair of briefs. She has white knee pads and black elbow pads, finishing her outfit with black and white boots. Her brown hair dances in the breeze as she shakes her head a little on the way to the ring. Kimberly West opts for a slightly different ring attire. A shiny liquid metal spandex top and matching spandex shorts. She finishes her outfit with some black knee pads and black boots. Her wavy light brown hair whips around as the former dancer puts on a bit of a show on her way to the ring. More of a show than her more reticent partner. Its very clear that these two athletically built and attractive young women are popular with the male segment of fans.

They arrive at the ring. Kimi uses the steps to climb to the apron, and then grabs hold of the ropes and catapults herself up. In one move, she jumps up and takes a seat on the top of the turnbuckle. All the while Kim dives under the bottom rope and sits up on her knees. She leans back and coolly slides into a seated position beneath the turnbuckle Kimi is perched on. Kim holds one of hands up and Kimi slaps her five. The two stay seated in this position waiting for the match to get started.

East/West not the most popular team here in Los Angeles, especially tonight when they face the native daughter Lindsay Locke, but they have their share of fans.

The sweet, sprightly strains of There She Goes by Sixpence None The Richer break through the darkness, a white pin spotlight finding Iowas Girl Next Door, Kylie Sanders. The diminutive Kylie draws both cheers and whistles. Her new look, tousled, shoulder-length, cinnamon-hued hair, replaced with long flowing blonde locks has brought a little more sex appeal to the cutie from the cornfields. She bounds down the aisle, slapping hands with most anyone she can reach. The time working with Lindsay has brought an extra sparkle to her hazel eyes and a bounce to her step; her spirit and confidence replenished. A bubbly mixture of excitement and nervousness keeps her taut little body in constant motion. Sanders struts around the ring in a body-hugging, black, cotton tank top that leaves a healthy rim of her midriff showing; her little biceps shown with a grinning pose, adorable elfin nose crinkling between apple cheeks. Below, yellow-gold, form-fitting boy-cut trunks curve to an end just beneath the taut roundness of her buttocks. Kylie goes without footwear.

Kylie revels in a pocket of her Corps next to the restraining barrier. The Corps and Lindsays many fans applaud Kylie on her parade around the ring, a pleasant change of pace from the usual FAWN fare. The erstwhile Iowa coed still must face down a few troublemakers ringside, one carrying a placard pronouncing Kylie and Lindsay will share a Connectionan East-West Connection, another holds high a poster Kylie: A leopard cant change its spots. The lamb is still a lamb.

The golden-haired warrior moves onto a half-dozen of the Kylie Corps. She blows her fans a kiss and gives the gang a thumbs-up.

Kylie slides into the squared circle under the bottom rope and pops to her feet. She hops in place, occasionally checking the tension of the ropes, her eyes darting through the crowd and around the ring. She shadowboxes to burn off some excess nervous energy waiting for the inevitable fade of Six Pence.

The tension was making her stomach a little queasy, her brow already damp with perspiration. Job one against East/West was survive, but Kylie knew she had to do more than that. She had to show Lindsay she hadnt made a mistake, that she had as great an eye of talent, as was a great champion.

We look across an arena filled to capacity. The Staples Center on Olympic and Figueroa, just blocks from the Pantry (where many of tonights fans enjoyed a pre-show meal.) The stands dotted with those holding signs, some reading Welcome Home Lindsay!, LindsayLocke Up A Win In LA! and LA LOVES LINDSAY!

The arena goes completely dark. Suddenly, strobe lights go off all over the arena. Lindsay Locke stands at the top of the ramp with her arms in a "T", palms down. An explosion of pyrotechnics go off and she raises her arms to a "V", with the palms up.

Los Angeles by X plays in the arena, and the fans cheer for their favorite. The smiling and peppy blond walks confidently to the ring, stopping to acknowledge the cheers of the fans. She gives them high fives and some hugs.

Lindsay is joined by her friend and manager Angela Downey who walks a little behind her. Lindsay wears her usual attire of blue spandex shorts with silver lightning bolts on them and the word "Lightning" on the back in silver letters, a silver spandex top, and blue knee pads with silver bolts on them. She finishes the outfit with blue boots that have silver bolts on them. She also wears a blue T shirt that says "Lind's Kids Charities" on it in yellow letters. Angela wears blue jeans and a "Lind's Kids Charities" T shirt. The short girl with dirty blond hair has on a pair of thin wire frame glasses.

Lindsay slides into the ring and approaches the center. She high fives Kylie and gives her an introduction to her hometown fans, a point and a thumbs up. This girl is ok with me. LA pops for Kylie as Lindsay grabs a mic.

Hello Los Angeles!

Shes greeted by a gigantic LA pop.

Im home!

Loudest pop of the night. The loudest anyone is getting tonight. The prodigal daughter has come backand Los Angeles left the light on for her.

A lot of people would be a little worried performing tonight for the greatest fans in the world! A lot of people would be nervous or filled with anxiety! After all, this is the media capital of the world!

Another huge pop. Lindsay nods her head in satisfaction.

But Im not. I was born 20 minutes from her. I grew up half an hour from this spot, longer in traffic. ! I watched the Lakers, the team of the 80s, win Back to Back! I watched wrestling at the Olympic Auditorium, the Forum and the Sports Arena! I watched and thought someday thatll be me!

LA loves having its star back home. Thats one thing Los Angeles lovesa star.

Im not nervous tonightbecause this is my house! My house! And all of you are my family!

The cheer is deafening. She fights back a tear. Years of darkness, self abuse and loathing, yet these people forgive her. These people still love her. To them she will always be that girl next door.

And I want to introduce you to another member of my familythis is Kylie Sanders!

Kylie gets a good cheer from Lindsays fans.

I know you know her already, but you dont know Kylie Sanders at all! Watch her guys, shes the next big thing! Remember Lindsay said that!

Kylie acknowledges the fans.

So now Ky and I are going to kick some butt and then were going to party on the strip all night long!!! And I want to see each and every one of you there!

And it is then that LA chants her nameone more time.

Thanks! I love you all! Thanks for staying with me!

East/West is not impressed by Lindsays speech. They came to wrestle and as far as theyre concerned Lindsay can talk to the fans on her own time.

Kylie and Lindsay have a brief discussion about whos starting the match. East/West has no discussion. Kimi gets in the ring and Kim takes her place in the corner. Finally, Lindsay gets set to start.

And what a start. Right off the collar and elbow Lindsay hip tosses Kimi to the mat. The fans are already on their feet. Kimi slowly gets back to hers. She cant believe it was that fast. Lindsay gives her a smile and a dont try it look.

Kimi gets back to her feet and gets nailed with a dropkick. Lindsay is on fire already and the fans can sense it. Kimi pounds the mat in frustration and anger before trying to get up again. This time she gets another dropkick that sends her back against the ropes. Lindsay follows up with a third dropkick that makes Kimi topple out over the top rope.

Kimi gets back in the ring and angrily tags off to Kim. West enters the ring and approaches the confident Locke. They lock up and Lindsay wins off the draw with an armbar that gets Kim under control.

Lindsay twists the arm as she drags West to the corner. There, Lindsay tags in Kylie to the support of the fans.

Kylie enters the ring via the top rope, driving an elbow down against Kims barred shoulder. The force drives West down to her knees. As Lindsay exits the ring Kylie takes up the armbar, keeping West under control.

From the armbar, Kylie takes Kim to a hammerlock. West is in trouble and neither member of the experienced Tag Team seems to believe it. Kylie forces Kim down to the mat and tries to work the arm a little more. She has Kim stuck.

Kim has had enough. When she senses Kylie is close enough she goes right to the eyes. Two fingers poke right into Kylies eyes, causing her to release the hammerlock. Kylie backs up, bringing her hands to her eyes rubbing.

The ref starts to argue with Kim, warning her against the lillegal move, as Kylie stumbles forward. Kim acts innocent before grabbing Kylie in a headlock and continuing the attack with a rake of the blondes eyes across the top rope.

Kim drags Kylie to the corner and tags in Kimi. She places Kylie in a headlock and drags her around the ring while Kimi kicks her in the butt and yells. You suck! Youre pathetic! The so-called Walk of Shame does more to wound Kylies pride than injure her body.

Kim and Kimi whip Kylie to the ropes. As she comes back shes tossed up and over with a double back body drop. She lands hard on her back. The ref finally orders Kim out of the ring. She extends a middle finger to Lindsay before leaving the ring.

Kimi lifts Kylie to a seated position. She places a knee in Kylies back and yanks both the coeds arms back in a seated surfboard. Kimi yanks as hard as possible, trying to get a submission. The ref asks Kylie if shes had enough. She shakes her head no.

Kimi gives up on the surfboard. She pulls Kylie to a standing position and executes a shoulder breaker. With Kylie on the mat, Kimi goes for a pin. She gets two before Kylie kicks out to the cheers of the crowd.

Kimi cant believe its not over. Lindsay cheers her partner on, trying to get Kylie back into the match. Kimi yanks the young woman up and pulls her to te corner. She tags in Kim West and West trips Kylie up as she enters the ring. With Kylie on her back, West picks both the youngsters legs up by the ankles. As she does so, Kimi drops a headbutt right between Kylies legsa move East/West calls The Birth Control Device.

The ref orders Kimi out of the ring following her blatantly illegal move. Kylie writhes on the mat, her womanhood burning. The damage has been done. Kim tries for a lateral press but the ailing Kylie finds enough strength to kick out.

Kim pulls Kylie up with a handful of trunks. She sends the young Iowan to the ropes. As Kylie comes back, she somehow manages to get enough sense back to clothesline Kim, just as Kim clotheslines her. A double clothesline that leaves both women on the mat.

Each woman struggles to get upstruggles to get to their corner for a tag. Kim has the advantage, a little fresher than Kylie. She reaches out and tags in Kimi. Yamashida hits the ring and charges towards Kylie. But she has to slam on the brakes

Kylie makes one last dive and tags in Lindsay. And thats all she needs.

The fresh Locke hits the ring and knocks Kimi down with a stiff shot. Kim struggles to get back in the ring and she gets taken down with a stiff shot by Locke. Locke has both members of East/West reeling.

Kylie gets her second wind. She tackles Kimi and starts nailing her in the head. Its a free for all in the ring and the ref has totally lost control.

Lindsay takes down Kim with a swinging neck breaker. Kimi and Kylie battle all over the mat.

Lindsay goes to the top rope. She raises her hands and, to the cheers of the fans, leaps forward and lands an elbow right on top of Kim. The Lightning Strike brings the LA fans to their feet. Lindsay goes for the pin

No! Yamashida, having freed herself of Kylie with a dirty low blow, kicks Lindsay off Kim. Lindsay stands and starts to take the fight to Kimi. They exchange blows back and forth as the ref tries to figure out whos legal and whats what.

West starts to stir. As she stands she gets a DDT from Kylie, who clearly uses all her remaining strength to keep West down. Both women lie in a heap on the mat.

Kimi reaches into her shorts and pulls something out. She grasps it in her right hand and goes to swing at Lindsay. But Lindsay gets off a toe kick and Kimi drops the item.

Lindsay picks up the cylinder, a roll of quarters, and grasps it in her hand. She signals to the crowd and they cheer her on.

WHAM!

Lindsay nails Kimi right in the head with the loaded hand. Quarters shoot everywhere. The ref turns and sees Kimi flat out on the mat. He looks at Lindsay and orders the bell.

Kylie gets off Kim long enough to join her partner. They await the refs decision. He goes to the time keepers table as Kim tries to revive Kimi.

Ladies and gentlemen, due to the use of an illegal foreign objectthe referee has disqualified Lindsay Locke! Here are your winners. East/West!

Lindsay and Kylie argue their case to the ref, but its for naught. Kim and Kimi can barely get up and scramble awaywinners of the match but the worst for wear. This battle is far from over.

WINNERS, by disqualification: East/West 1
