�Ladies and gentleman, welcome to another installment of �FAWN Week in Review!� I�m your host, Casey Maxwell, and we�ve got a terrific show lined up for you tonight. Karen Shallitt will bring you the second installment of her in-depth interview with Commissioner Bethany Christian, I�ll be conducting a spotlight look at FAWN newcomer Daniella Bryce, and of course, we�ll be featuring highlights from some of the best of recent ring action!

And let�s not waste another moment getting to that action! No match has garnered more positive Email in recent weeks than the hellacious Hell in a Cell battle between Tag Team Champions Cathy and Shannen Dennehy and their challengers, Miriam Gaiman and Sophie Mitchell. Fans just couldn�t seem to get enough of this one, and I think it�s a safe bet that this brawl will rank high in the coming Match of the Year Poll.

There were more than a few surprises to be had on the night of November 21st. For one thing, I don�t know anyone who wasn�t shocked to find Sophie Mitchell willingly and vigorously tag teaming with Miriam Gaiman, and the fact that she is suggests that there�s a lot more going on in that relationship than the Master and Slave scenario I think everyone was expecting. The Dennehy�s managed a few surprises of their own, and they reminded everyone� and their opponents in particular� that the tag champions put as much effort into their homework as their gym work. Their strategy expertly focused on their rivals� weak spots, and the Dennehy�s demonstrated why their winning of the belts was no fluke. Now, let�s go to the highlights of their nearly one hour long match�."

The screen shifts to a melee in the center of the caged ring, as all four wrestlers battle each other. Shannen and Sophie are locked in a test of strength, fingers intertwined and muscles straining as they struggle, while Cathy and Miriam are trading judo chops to the chest. Shannen suddenly takes charge with a knee lift to Sophie�s belly, but Miriam balances the scales by scratching her nails across Cathy�s eyes, blinding her. Shannen locks Mitchell into a punishing abdominal stretch, but Gaiman, after having raked Cathy�s face across the steel mesh of the cage, Irish whips the cowgirl into the ropes, aiming the dirty one in such a way that when she rebounds off of the cables, she slams into her sister, breaking the hold on Sophie.

The next segment shows Gaiman subjecting Shannen to a camel clutch, one hand under the bigger girl�s chin to jerk her head up, and other one merrily mauling Dennehy�s face. Unfortunately for Miriam, Cathy halts Sophie�s offensive dead in its tracks with a forearm lift to the crotch, and then turns her attention to helping her sister, delivering a booted kick hard to the back of the redhead�s skull, stunning her.

Another scene change, and now Sophie has Cathy squirming in a bear hug, her arms slowly crushing the power from her opponent�s body. However, Miriam lays nearly motionless on the mat in the center of the ring, while Shannen scales the cage wall, then, hand over hand, hangs from the roof of the cage until she is positioned directly over her opponent. Releasing her grip, Dennehy falls some fifteen feet down, her cowgirl boots landing flush upon the redhead�s abdomen. The impact stuns Shady Shannen, but Miriam suffers far worse; she sits bolt upright, eyes and mouth wide open, then curls up into the fetal position.

The image blurs, then sharpens into another scene. Sophie now hangs motionless in a tree of woe, and Miriam, stripped naked save for her black fingerless gloves, is made to suffer in a most unusual backbreaker hold: The Dennehy�s stand back to back, with Gaiman draped over a shoulder of each sister, the redhead�s upper back across Shannen and her lower back across Cathy. To hold her in place, Shannen applies an inverted mandible claw, while Cathy inflicts a crotch claw. The end result is that the arena rings with that rarest of sounds� Miriam Gaiman screaming in pain!

And then the final scene: Sophie had somehow miraculously freed herself and gone back on the attack, but a double clothesline has left both her and Shannen groaning on the canvas, each too dazed to do more than twitch. Meanwhile, Cathy (who�s nearly blinded by her own blood as a gash on her forehead floods crimson into her eyes)� frustrated that her crotch claw hold, however agonizing, has failed to force the indomitable Gaiman to submit� has shifted tactics, electing to use a facesit to smother the redhead into oblivion. Miriam valiantly struggles to escape, but she is too battered, and all too soon, the referee raises and drops her limp arm three times, then calls for the bell.

The action over at last, Casey Maxwell�s image returns to the screen. �And there you have it, fans� highlights from what is undoubtedly a match for the ages! The Dennehy�s managed to walk away from that one with their belts, but just barely. And once the team of Gaiman and Mitchell gets more experience together, I think Dirty Cathy and Shady Shannen will have an even tougher time of it in the rematch.
