Lindsay Locke vs. Sweet Caroline
by: Dutch

Sweet Caroline tugged a bit at the side of her pink bikini bottoms. She adjusted her attire for comfort and cleared a slight wedgie forming from the tight garment. She gave a final wave to the fans before doing some stretching and mental gymnastics.

She hadnt been in a FAWN ring in sometime, and hadnt distinguished herself much the last time she was. Shed been fed to FAWNs best, but she kept coming back. The last thing she wanted was to endure another beating followed by a lengthy humiliating session at her victors mercy. But when they told her who shed be facing tonight, she felt she needed to take the match, if for other reason than it gave her a chance to face a legend of the sport. A legend that, despite all her shortcomings, didnt have a reputation for degrading her defeated foes. Caroline anticipated the one thing shed always hoped for in her chosen career: good, honest combat.

Shed met Lindsay Locke only once before, during some shared time in the IFWF. Theyd met in a locker room. Caroline, then nave, approached her longtime idol and introduced herself. But something was wrong. Lindsay was lost, hiding her eyes behind dark glasses and scratching her raw and irritated nose. She didnt accept Carolines hand. In fact, she didnt even seem to know Caroline was there. She had just ignored the young rookie. Later, Caroline heard stories of drug use and personal problems. Perhaps Lindsay was coming down, or too messed up to understand and exchange handshakes. Either way, Caroline had heard Lindsays latest statements and hoped her onetime inspiration was ready to get her life back on track. In many ways, the Philly blond was proud to be the first opponent of the new old Lindsay Locke.

The arena went completely dark, the only electricity evident being the buzzing anticipation of the crowd. The open guitar riff of The Red Hot Chili Peppers Californication plays through the darkness. Its haunting melody starts to build. The spotlight draws attention to the ramp and the FAWN fans get their first look at the resurgent Lightning Lindsay Locke. Dressed in her wrestling attire of blue spandex shorts, with silver lightning bolts on them, and the word "Lightning" on the back in silver letters a silver sports bra style top, and blue boots with silver lightning bolts on them, blue knee pads with silver bolts on them, she stands with her hands on her hips. Her look is both confident and cute all in one. The athletic and trim California Blond starts her slight jog to the ring.

On the way down to the squared circle, Lindsay makes certain to slap hands with as many of her fans as she can. She especially pays attention to the younger fans seated near the steel guardrail. Even her long layoffs from the sport and past indiscretions havent damped the fans love for her and she receives a raucous applause.

In the ring, Lindsay gives the fans a wave and a smile before extending a hand to Caroline. The two wrestlers shake hands and exchange a few friendly words before the start of the match. Caroline looks Lindsay over, trying to clear the butterflies in her stomach. She tries to concentrate on her height advantage and not the 5 World Championship reigns of Lindsay Locke. She thinks about her own athleticism and not the perfectly fit Locke, once picked as Best Body In Womens Wrestling by a fitness magazine. Caroline knows her own career has been less than spectacular, but she could really impress with a win against a legend the size of Lindsay Locke.

The bell breaks Carolines concentration for just a second. She sees Lindsay looking for a tie up. The two grapplers tie up in the center of the ring and in a split second Caroline is down. It was something like an arm drag into a take down and followed up by an arm bar. Caroline cant even believe the speed of her opponent. Or the way Locke is twisting the arm bar. In her mind, the blond knows she has nowhere to go. The match has just started and shes at Lockes mercy. The young Philly girl has been in a few arm bars before, but never one so painful and controlling. She struggles for the ropes, but Locke keeps the pressure on.

But with the beatings comes some experience. Caroline banishes the doubts from her head and once again thinks of her height advantage. She starts to move her long legs, trying to force herself up. Through her leg strength and sheer will, she starts to force both herself and Lindsay up. Locke wont release the arm bar, but Caroline is starting to loosen the grip. Before long, both women are on their feet.

Its with a touch of satisfaction that Caroline feels the pain in her arm start to dissipate. Lockes grip has been broken. But the satisfaction only lasts so long. Lapses in concentration can cost you, and before long Caroline is the victim of an Irish Whip to the ropes. She has no control over her momentum as she rebounds off the springy ropes hurtles backright into a patented Lindsay Locke Dropkick.

If she hadnt been on the receiving end, Caroline might have stopped to admire the move. It had to be close to perfect. Both of Lindsays feet connected precisely with the targetCarolines face. The kick came with the perfect amount of force and Caroline could feel her eyes welling up before she even hit the mat.

The youngsters head was swimming as she landed with a thud against the canvass. All the wind was knocked from her body upon impact. She knew she was being woman handled and she hated it. Even though Lindsay had played fair, unlike many of Carolines former opponents, she felt more naked now than she had with her bikini stripped away. But her reflections on her plight werent to last as she was hefted up by a handful of blond hair.

Locke hadnt pulled too hard, and Caroline could tell through her fog that Lindsay wasnt trying to hurt or humiliate her; she just wanted to win the match. Caroline found herself being whipped, yet again, only this time to the turnbuckle. Her back collided hard with the only lightly forgiving corner post and she spat out her last bit of air upon impact. This had been a one sided domination and Caroline knew it. She had wanted to hang with one of the rings legends. Instead, shed been hung out to dry.

It was almost slow motion. She watched Lindsay climb the rope and grab her neck. Then she saw only swirls of light and felt forward momentum. It all ended with her head crashing on the canvass. Lindsay Locke had executed a picture perfect tornado DDT and had executed Caroline with it. The good girl lay flat on her back, staring glassy eyed and dazed at the lights above her. She could hear the crowd cheering, either for the triumphant return of Lindsay or out of the sick joy of seeing Caroline squashed again. She couldnt tell which. But as her glassy eyes turned toward the side she saw Locke standing on the top turnbuckle. Caroline swallowed hard and prepared herself to receive The Lightning Strike, Lindsays well-known finisher. But it never came.

Lindsay saw the plight of her foe and leaped down from the ropes harmlessly. She lay down beside Caroline, lifted one of the youngsters long legs and pinned her gingerly. The ref counted out an academic 1, 2, 3 and Lindsay carefully put Carolines leg down before standing to accept her victory. The whole match had lasted under 4 minutes. Caroline had been squashed. But the only blow was to her body and pride. Lindsay took no liberties.

Instead, Locke helped Caroline to her feet and supported her as she stood. She took the youngsters arm and raised it in victory. The crowd gave Caroline a friendly applause as Lindsay gave her some encouraging words. The blond knew her body would ache tomorrow, but tonight she didnt feel so bad all things considered.

BOOOOOM!

Caroline was hit from behind. Hard. It was as if someone had taken a sledgehammer to the back of her head. She, already dazed, went down hard to the mat. She looked up to see two women attacking Lindsay Locke. She wanted to help, but she had nothing left.

Caroline was able to make out the faces of Lockes attackers. It was East/West. Kimi Yamashida and Kim West were descending on Lindsay like a pack of wild dogs. They were in street clothes and armed with something that looked like ball bats. Caroline watched as the pair pounded Lindsay to the mat. Then, she felt a shot of horror as West turned and saw her lying prone.

Kim West was never one to miss the opportunity to kick someone when they were down. Caroline felt pain in her stomach and mid section as Kim West put the boots to her. Then she felt a pain in a much more private area as Kim finished with a soccer kick to her crotch. Caroline rolled into a fetal position, hands firmly pressed against her inflamed privates, trying to clear the pain away. Through tearing eyes she saw West laughing at her and cried even more. West spat on Caroline before Yamashida called for her partners attention.

Caroline could see that Yamashida had pulled Lindsay to her feet. Locke was woozy and ailing. The beaten Philly girl couldnt believe that she wanted to try and save the woman who had just thoroughly dominated her in a match. But Lindsay had been a good sport and deserved better. Caroline watched hopelessly as East/West slammed Lindsay with The East/West Connectiona double spear type move that looked amazingly painful. West speared Lindsay high, from the front. Yamashida hit from behind and low. Lindsay looked like someone had twisted her in two as she landed on the mat. Caroline winced.

East/West wasnt done. They saw poor Caroline trying to escape the ring slowly and snatched her.

WHERE DO YOU THINK YOURE GOING, BITCH?

Caroline tried to worm free of Kimis grasp on her long blond hair. But it was for not. She put her hands up in half defense and begged for mercy.

Please dont! Im sorry!

But it was too late. Kimi tossed her to the center and slammed a fist into her gut. The shot makes Caroline stumble a bit around the ring. The force of The East/West Connection ends her stumbling. The beleaguered blond feels the impact of Kim against her chest and Kimi into her knees. She goes down after a mid air spin and lays face down on the mat. She is totally spent. Her only solace, as she slips into unconsciousness, is that East/West has given up on her and gone back to pounding Lindsay Locke. Thats where we are when the show goes to commercial.
