�Welcome back to �FAWN Week in Review�, ladies and gentlemen. I�m Casey Maxwell, and in this segment, we�re taking a look at one of the league�s newest acquisitions, Kimiko Yamashida and Kim West, better known as East/West.

Although new to FAWN, the duo is well-established in the sport, racking up a long string of victories on both sides of the Pacific. They are, at first glance, an unlikely team� the woman from New Jersey and the woman from Tokyo, Japan, seemingly worlds apart. But whereas at first glance it would seem that their differing ring styles would be incompatible, it quickly becomes apparent once one sees them in action that their contrary abilities compliment one another tremendously, and that East/West make for one of the most lethal tag team combinations in the sport.

Since arriving in the federation, Yamashida and West have made it no secret that they intend to capture the FAWN Tag Team belts, and to that end, they have demanded matches against some of the best in the league. To better illustrate East/West�s abilities in the ring, we�d like to show you highlights of their maiden FAWN match, against the team of Juliet Bloodwind and Leila the Jungle Cat, held last October the 3rd. We take you now to the Philips Arena in Atlanta.�

The picture shifts from Casey Maxwell to a match in progress, as we see Kim West trapped in a short armbar by Juliet Bloodwind� but not for long, as the dirty blond slowly powers out of the hold. The Native American struggles to keep it locked in place, but suddenly, West spins around and reverses it, and it�s Bloodwind who�s trapped. Kim walks Juliet over to East/West�s corner, where Kimiko awaits. Suddenly releasing her hold, the Jersey girl spins and gets in the face of the referee, arguing with him about his performance in the match thus far� and distracting him from Yamashida, who has draped Bloodwind�s throat over the top rope and is choking her. Then, holding Juliet by the hair, the Japanese wrestler jumps to the ring floor, causing the brunette to snap back violently from the rope and flop to the mat, clutching her neck as she gasps for air.

The screen blurs, then picks up the action later in the match, this time as Kimiko rushes to the corner where Leila stands perched, readying herself to launch her body through the air for a missile dropkick. But the jungle girl never gets the chance as he opponent sweeps her feet outwards off of the ropes; gravity takes over, and Leila slams crotch-first atop the steel turnbuckle. Yamashida then mounts the middle rope, tucks Leila�s head under her arm, grabs her by the waistband of her leopard skin bikini briefs, and takes her to the canvas with a slam.

Again, the image shifts, and now all four wrestlers are in the ring. Kim and Kimiko have planted the soles of their feet against each others, and are holding their opponents by the ankles. Suddenly leaning backwards and forwards again and again, East/West executes a rowboat that has Juliet and Leila howling.

A montage of clips follow in rapid succession, each showing East/West subjecting their rivals to a wide variety of increasingly-painful holds, from surfboards and Hurricanranas to eye gouges and knees to the groin. Finally, we see Yamashida and West execute their East/West Connection to Juliet Bloodwind, the double spear knocking the Native American off her feet in a 270 degree spin from the impact. By the time Juliet hits the mat, she is barely conscious, and Kim West languidly lays across her torso, not even bothering to hook a leg, and counting along with raised fingers as the referee slaps canvas for three.

The image of Casey Maxwell again appears on the screen. �As you�ve just seen, East/West can be absolutely devastating in the ring. And in our next segment, we�ll show you highlights from their second match, this one against a team more seasoned than Juliet Bloodwind and Leila the Jungle Cat�and a team that�s quite possibly as vicious and ambitious as East/West themselves.
