The
fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.
Shakespeare
The
Malkavians were never organized in Baltimore.
Once a large, unwieldy, and fractured clan, the Malkavian have been
thinned down by violence and odd disappearances. Imron Hahmitt, notorious black market arms dealer, was killed in
a police raid; an Anarch Malkavian named Chiles was cut down in battle against
the Prince and his loyal Kindred; Aaron Jefferson was killed by the Sabbat when
Salisbury fell. Once the Prince's
closest advisor, Mr. Lock has disappeared in recent nights, and the clan itself
seems to be lurking in the shadows; recently and most telling, however, was the
tragic death of Lucien Banes in an attempt to hold of the fires of an explosive
attack by Anarchs. However, no one
seems to notice or really care too much.
Wendy
Wendy
is an enigma. Merely a first name with
barely a face, Wendy is known to lurk somewhere in Baltimore, and is currently
the target of an two-months ongoing Blood Hunt called for traitorous activities
against the Camarilla. It is said that
she can see the future and that she can read minds, and it is known that a good
deal of Kindred would be interested in attaining her skills - not the least
being the Tremere and certain of the more up-and-coming power mongers amongst
the Toreador and the Ventrue. However,
the Prince seems to want to make sure that she does not fall into the wrong
hands by having her destroyed once and for all - a difficult task for someone
who knows before you do what your next actions will be.
Q
The
mysterious Q is the most high-profile of all of the Malkavians, but has,
apparently, no past whatsoever. He used
to drive a taxi in the name of the Prince, picking up newcomers to the city and
then driving them to the World Trade Center.
Now, however, he has taken a more important role in the city; after
infiltrating the Sabbat and feeding valuable information south that allowed
Baltimore to make its killing blow to Archbishop Ortega, Q returned home a hero
and was hailed by many as the greatest utilization of resources in the battle
for Baltimore. However, that resource
has disappeared of late; rumor has it that he fled somewhere to the north, and
none can contact him.
Malkavian
Holdings
The
Malkavians, never a very influential clan, control almost nothing of late. They once had the distinct advantage of
complete control over the city's transportation, but with the final death of
Aaron Jefferson, even that old stronghold has fallen by the way side. They now truly control nothing; Q was
working on building influence before his disappearance, but it is unknown what
he was attempting to control.
