There is no death!  What seems so is transition; this life of mortal breath is but a suburb of the life elysian, whose portal we call death.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

The Giovanni have been in Baltimore longer than nearly every other clan in the city.  However, their power has waxed and waned throughout the years, and they have spent much of their time gaining back what was once theirs anyway.  This has prevented them from expanding too far, too fast.  This is mostly due to Viktor Albrecht's machinations, as the Prince is afraid of the Giovanni getting too much control over the city.  None the less, the Giovanni have a near monopoly on the ports of Baltimore (most of which were retrieved after the Sabbat were driven out of the Delmarva Peninsula) - and Baltimore is the fifth largest port in the United States, making the city a valuable asset to the Necromancers.

Constanza Giovanni

The childe of the late head of the Giovanni in Baltimore, Constanza was the obvious heir to her sire's domains.  She has already loosened a few of the tight restrictions that her father, Lucio, held over their clan, allowing a flourishing criminal empire to grow under Anthony Milliner.  She uses her charm and her beauty to get a leg up for the Giovanni, and she has developed some good business contacts for herself (and for her clan).  She works most often with Guiseppi Valerio and James Chamberlain, and has gained the respect of each of those parties.

Anthony Milliner

The purveyor of the majority of the Giovanni holdings (namely, all of the ports that the family calls their own), Anthony Milliner is probably the highest profile of all the Giovanni in Baltimore.  He controls the shipping facilities for the Necromancers, and he secretly allows drug and gun trade for Derrick Anderson and Carter Macavoy to slip through his warehouses (for a fee, of course).  Anthony is eager to get the Giovanni back into more criminal activities, seeing them as merely an extension of legitimate business and an important part of the Giovanni income.  With the death of Lucio, nothing stands in Anthony's way save his own shortcomings.

Giovanni Holdings

The Giovanni call a good deal of the city their own, but especially its waterways and its docks.  Little Italy has long been ground zero for the Giovanni, and there is no denying the influence that the Necromancers have on the area, especially in the form of Boccaccio's, one of the premiere Italian restaurants in the United States (and the headquarters for the Giovanni).  Anthony Milliner controls - or at least knows the person who owns - nearly every port in the city, most notably the Port of Baltimore itself, allowing the Giovanni to dictate what goes in and out.  And their firm grip on Westminster Hall and Baltimore's Catacombs allows the Giovanni easy access to as many dead bodies as they need for their fiendish Necromancy.
