East

East Baltimore is almost entirely controlled by the Giovanni, who dominate nearly every aspect of unlife there.  The ports and docks are watched over by Giovanni ghouls; the restaurants are served by Giovanni chefs.  The only Camarilla stronghold in eastern Baltimore is the Sheriff’s office, which has itself been beleaguered of late.  If one is not allied with the Giovanni, one is recommended not to head to deep into east Baltimore.

Little Italy

One of the most personable areas of Baltimore, Little Italy is home to a vast majority of Italian immigrants who poured into Baltimore when it was opened for immigration near the turn of the century.  It is one of the most vibrant areas of the city, and contains a good deal of Italian themed shops and restaurants.  Just to the northeast of the Inner Harbor, it is also a major tourist spot, and it boasts one of the areas’ premiere restaurants: Boccaccio’s, an excellent formal Italian restaurant whose chef, Giovanni Caesar, is world renowned.  Not coincidentally, a certain clan of vampire hails from the same area, and Boccaccio’s serves as their beacon to the rest of the Camarilla.  The Giovanni have long held a powerful grip on the Little Italy area, and it is rumored that the Chef is actually related to Lucio Giovanni, head of the clan in Baltimore.

The Ports of Baltimore

Baltimore has myriad ports all throughout the city and the surrounding area.  These ports are the near-exclusive domain of the Giovanni, and their territories include, amongst others, Curtis Bay, Canton Bay, Sparrow's Point, Lynch Cove, Old Road Bay and, of course, the Port of Baltimore.  They have a monopoly on shipping in and out of the city, and have long maintained that monopoly through dealings with the Camarilla and force if necessary.  Of course, they share those ports - for a price.  Unauthorized use of a Giovanni held wharf or dock is just asking for trouble.

Sparrow's Point

Sparrow’s Point, like the majority of the ports in Baltimore, falls under the control of the Giovanni.  However, it also contains Bethlehem Steel, the premiere industrial center in Baltimore.  It is absolutely key to the survival of Baltimore’s already suffering industry, and it pours some of the worst pollution into the air.  Controlled nominally by Anthony Milliner, there are rumors of a strange pack of Werewolves in the area as well, who roam about and bask in the pollution and corruption there.

The Sheriff's Office

The Sheriff's Office of Baltimore has long been on North Gay Street, unassumingly placed near the Courthouse and a major Police Station in Baltimore City, and only a quarter mile south of the Baltimore Penitentiary.  The Sheriff's Office has the most influence in the city on the Baltimore Police Department and the Penitentiaries of Baltimore, and it in the halls of the Sheriff's Office that the traditions of the Camarilla are enforced.  However, with the recent 'abdication' of Joshua Butler and the prior disappearance of Quentin Mullough, the Sheriff's office belongs to the reluctant but firm Lazarus, who plans on bringing it back to a position of prominence.
