You
ask, what is our aim? It is victory,
victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and
hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.
Winston Churchill
The
Brujah have recently have had their numbers heavily reduced by battle and
internal conflict. They have had their
Primogen (Geoffrey Carroll) destroyed recently, presumably by the Sabbat; the
errant child of Geoffrey Carroll, Lydia, has not only been designated as a
target for the Blood Hunt, but has also disappeared entirely; and Leah Crowe and
Gutter have met their Final Deaths in battle against the Sword of Caine. This leaves the previously large and
unwieldy clan small and comparatively weak - and definitely spread thin over
its previous holdings. However, recent
embraces may serve to bolster the ranks of the Brujah and begin their rise to
power once more.
Guiseppi Valerio 'Joe Olives'
Ostensibly
Primogen of the Brujah, 'Joe Olives' has gained this position purely through
dint of age and minor influence within Kindred politics. He controls a good deal of the Baltimore
mafia, and counts the historical Belvedere hotel part of his domain. He controls a good deal of the criminal
elements in the city: prostitution, extortion, laundering, murder for hire,
smuggling (he has an in with both the Giovanni and the Setites), you name
it. The only thing he doesn't control
is the weapon trade and the drug trade... and that is only because he has yet
to move into those fields.
Carter Macavoy
Pretty
much just a small-time crook for most of his life (and unlife), Carter has managed
to score a pretty major heist in recent nights, orchestrating the death of the
arms dealer Imron Hahmitt and seizing his product in under a week. Since that time, Carter has chosen, wisely,
to lay low and to make sure that he doesn't antagonize anyone of
importance. Respect for Carter has
risen slightly, but he keeps out of the limelight and makes sure that he
doesn't make any new enemies.
Clark
Clark,
whose last name is currently unknown, is a mysterious figure in the Kindred
underground. He has only recently shown
up, and is ostensibly an Anarch, although he doesn't prefer that title. He has insinuated that there are others like
him, although their names and likenesses have not been revealed. His presence may indicate sour times for the
Camarilla.
Lydia
Although
the Anarch childe of Geoffrey Carrol was soundly defeated by Albrecht in battle
- for the second time - it is generallyy acknowledged that Lydia is still out
there somewhere. Ignoring the
possibility of her return would be a most grievous error, and the fact that she
retains her status as a target for a Blood Hunt over a month after her
disappearance testifies to her legitimacy as a threat to Prince Viktor
Albrecht's rule. If she were to return,
she would undoubtedly bring with her a miasma of chaos, violence, and
destruction that would result in major upheaval within Prince Albrecht's
domain.
Vince Talley
Vince
is the errant childe of the murdered Gutter, embraced mere nights before his
sire fell alongside Eric Redstone and Karsten to an enraged abomination named Gormal
in the Battle for Wilmington. Left to
his own devices, Vince knows very little of Kindred society and is known by
very few Kindred in the city. He is in
a deadly position, and is a prime target for a great many enemies in the night.
Brujah
Holdings
The
Brujah have very little temporal power any more - constant upheaval amongst
their ranks has thinned their numbers to the point that it is extremely
difficult for them to hold any real influence.
The majority of the power is held by the now-unchallenged Brujah
Primogen, Joe Olives. Joe controls a
vast criminal empire and holds the deed to the Belvedere Hotel in his hands. He is branching out into the Teamster's
Union and has his eye on the Russian Mafiya. His protégé, Carter Macavoy, is the only other Brujah with real
holdings - he recently acquired control of the Ritz Cabaret and has controlled
a percentage of the cities gun-running for several months. However, the appearance of so many new faces
within the lines of the Rabble promises to cause a massive usurping of land and
influence.
