About Me!
"The Julie Files"

If you are reading this, thank you for showing an interest in the background of probably one of the most un-exciting people around...

My full name is Julie Anne Patrick List - I am not really named after anyone or anything, which is a feature that keeps me separate from every other member of my immediate family. I was born on March 17, 1984 and since then I have been somewhat obsessed with St. Patrick's Day. My favorite color is green, the country I would most like to see is Ireland, even though I am less than 5% Irish, I tell everyone I am Irish - you get the picture. I am really German, all of my ancestors were from Germany, came to America, and married German people. It's a little strange, I have friends that are about a million different things, and all I can say fro myself is I am German. Anyways, did you know that not a single person I have met thought I was German? I've gotten Italian, Hispanic and even American Indian - talk about a little out of it. Okay, so yes - back to the early years.

I was born in a suburb of Chicago, called Evanston. My first house was in Burr Ridge, I think - I only lived there for a few months, so it's kind of hard to remember. My second house was in Willowbrook, which I remember quite well - we had a finished basement and a split-level house. My third house was in Woodridge on this golf course called Seven Bridges. That was an amazing house - my favorite of all of them - it was brick, had gardens in the backyard and was right on the golf course. When I was 13 (end of 7th grade), I moved to Parkland, FL. I was not too happy about that one, cause I love snow. I have gotten used to it by now, though, and I am not sure I could ever be around snow for too long now without freezing.

Let's see...recent life...I graduated 2002, attended Florida Atlantic University (in Boca Raton) for the past two years. All in all, not a successful journey - my grades went way down and I wasted a lot of time and money. So, now I am off to Orlando (so I can live with Tiggers) to my new school - Seminole Community College. That will tell you how badly my grades fell that I have to go to a community school. Anyways, I am optimistic, getting to start over again, meet some new friends and in a year I will be going to the University of Central Florida if all works out. The plan right now is to be an ESE (special ed) teacher, but I am not sure if I am cut out for the job - so, other plans are to major in Elementary Ed or Photography. So, we shall see...

My best friends are Meredith, Ashaleigh and Christopher - Mer has been my best friend for 6 years, she goes to UCF and I am going to be living in the same apartment complex as her in the fall; Ash has also been my best friend for six years, she's at FSU, turning into a country-chic, which is absolutely entertaining (she's getting me hooked -it's her  plan); and Chris has been my best friend for 5 years, and even though he lives in Georgia (he moved there 4 years ago), he has been there for me through everything and always makes my day that much better (I get to visit him in August! Yea!).

I have two older sister and one younger brother. My family is one of those families that knows everything about each other, or at least more than normal families know about each other. Over the past few years, it seems like all the kids have gotten close - and when we get together, it's always a lot of fun.

Ally McBeagle is the name of my puppy - she's a Beagle (duh), and she's incredibly cute when she stops howling. She has the softest ears that are twice the size of her face and she's just cute - I haven't seen her for a while, so I am going through puppy-withdrawal. I am moving home the 15th of June, so I am incredibly excited to see her again - so cute.

Allrighty! Right now I am in Boca, staying at the house of one of my amazing co-workers. I work at a toy store called Learning Express. It's not always exciting there, business has been slow, but the people I work with are quite entertaining, and it's like my family away from my family. As soon as I move back to Parkland, I will be working with 1st graders at Parkland Kids Camp for the rest of the summer, and possibly another job.

Well, I could go on for quite some time about me, and I could also put you to sleep (if you haven't already). So, without further ado, here are so incredibly random facts about me:
