The C/K Pickup interior brings a high level of comfort and convenience to the full-size truck segment. Cheyenne trim levels offer a comfortable work environment, yet retain the rugged
construction that�s needed in a hardworking truck. The uplevel Silverado adds more car-like amenities for buyers who also use their vehicles for personal transportation.
The available Silverado third door brings a greater level of convenience to C/K1500 Short-Box Extended-Cab models. This handy passenger-side third door makes it easy to load passengers,
pets or cargo into the rear-seat area.
The third door has a steel beam, double-striker plate and welded construction, for extra strength.
The third door includes a convenient interior storage compartment in the lower portion of the door and a
swing-out window.
Crew-Cab models have rear-seat heat ducts for greater passenger comfort.
An illuminated entry feature keeps the dome lamp on for 20 seconds after the last door is closed (40 seconds for vehicles equipped with optional Remote Keyless Entry). The delay is cancelled when the ignition switch is turned to the "on" position.
Two auxiliary 12-volt outlets are convenient power sources for cellular phones and other electronic accessories. The power ports are concealed by a spring-loaded door. The standard cigarette lighter may also be used as a third power port.
C/K Pickup has an ergonomically designed instrument panel with easy-to-operate controls. It includes two backlit switches for added nighttime visibility and a choice of advanced audio systems. In addition to regular gauges, the standard instrument cluster gauge package includes:
Coolant temperature
Trip odometer
Oil pressure
Voltmeter.

SEATS
Seats in C/K Pickup are designed for long-lasting comfort. Seats are available with vinyl, Custom Cloth or Custom Leather trim to suit the different needs of customers. All outboard seats have adjustable head restraints. Custom Cloth bench seats include a center armrest storage compartment with a coin holder, convenient writing surface and a map net mounted on the inside of the lid. Custom Leather seating surfaces are available on Silverado Regular-Cab, Extended-Cab and Crew-Cab models.
Additional features available with uplevel seats include (depending on seat selected):

Independently adjustable split seatbacks and power driver- and passenger-seat lumbar adjustments to tailor seating to individual tastes

Rotary controls for the heater/ventilation/AC system are easy to operate, even when wearing work gloves.
Instrument panel has two standard slide-out cup holders and includes a storage bin on models with GVWR at or above 8,600 lbs.
Single two-sided key operates ignition and doors.
Large door handles are easily grasped while wearing gloves.
Door trim panels have molded armrests, convenient map pockets and speakers.
Console (included with high-back bucket seats) has a pivoting writing surface on top of the lid, map pocket on underside of lid, cassette tape storage or removable cupholder insert and removable coin holder. In Extended-Cab models, the console also includes a latching rear storage drawer and two cup holders for rear seat passengers (Includes overhead console).
Standard passenger-side assist handles make entry and
exit easy.
Cloth seats, door panels and carpeting are treated with ScotchgardTM Protector to resist stains and make cleanups quick and easy.
Optional air conditioning with CFC-free refrigerant (standard on Silverado).
Standard intermittent wipers allow the driver to match wiper speed to weather conditions.
Optional (standard on Silverado) Tilt-Wheel� Adjustable Steering Column adjusts to a comfortable position for a wide range of drivers.
Optional Remote Keyless Entry system uses a key fob to activate remote locking features and illuminated entry
Standard door pockets provide convenient storage for personal articles.
Standard padded sunvisors include driver-side elastic
storage strap and passenger-side vanity mirror. (Silverado Crew-Cab sunvisors have sliding extensions and dual illuminated mirrors.)
