Spotlight on...Max and Zoë

Max and Zoë were adopted through an organization called Mighty Mutts when they were 6 weeks old in November of 2004. Their mother was a semi-stray cat who was fed by deli owners who used her to deter mice from their store, but wouldn’t pay the money to have her neutered. After living the first few months of their lives in a box in an empty deli basement they were very skeptical of their new home. Max was the first to adapt to his new surroundings and his confidence lured Zoë to soon follow. They are now incredibly affectionate and both love to be held. Max is obsessed with sitting on his owners’ shoulders and is adept at jumping incredibly high distances straight up into the air. Zoë is currently training to be a professional competitive napper.
