The Hot Puppies - Dogzuki - Nikolai

The crowd didn't really get going for the first band, Hot Puppies, but the band were performing well and sounding great.
Dogzuki were up next and on form with Ger warming the stage up properly. By the way check out www.dogzuki.com.
The mosh started up towards the end of Dogzuki's set, but when Nikolai stepped up,(they've got a bit of a site as well - www.skyhighnikolai.co.uk. Nikolai.co.uk was taken Colin tells me) the crowd really went kin' mental!
Anyone in the middle of the mosh, or at the front, or at the sides will tell you this.
Nikolai really played one of their best gigs ever!
The highlight for me was crowdsurfing (In the Riv!!) and seeing my big bro gettin' put up there. Jack!!! Of all people! Jack Cattran!!?. The night was excellent with over 200 thru' the doors and a good 50 in the mosh!!.
Respect to Tangled Parrot, Dogzuki, Hot Puppies and of course - Nikolai!
Five star all the way. Best night out for a while.
Well, best night since a certain night out with a certain name referrin' to laces and fatness I think.
