99 and 44/100 pure?
kills 95% of household germs?
kills 99.9% of germs that cause bad breath?
Do these products suck?
You've heard the claims...... It's 99 and 44/100's pure, It kills 99.9% of germs..... etc. What the hell does that mean? Why would companies make a product that doesn't completely work? And why, in todays technologically advanced society, can't these people make their products 100% pure? Kill 100% of household germs? My guess is it's the consumer's fault.
Today's companies are so concerned with the legal aspects of their claims that they would never promise anything to you. Wanna know why? Because one of you would sue the pants off of them! In today's lawsuit happy society, some loser would find that one germ that can't be killed, And exploit it to the max. This prospect has companies scared to make any claim. But do you ever wonder why they bother to make such a strange prediction of what their product will do? What are the 5% of the germs Clorox cannot kill? Are these 5% germs dangerous? Or are they just no big deal.
Or...... Maybe these people aren't trying to kill the remaining germs. Maybe they are just unable to come up with the correct formulas to do the job. But I find it funny. I wonder how we would react if our employers guaranteed that we would get 95% of our paychecks? But I still think it falls into the C.Y.A. theory of life. Everybody leaves a margin for error. I myself only guarantee an 80% effort (on average) on whatever I do.....
