CAN  YOU PLEASE CRAWL OUT YOUR WINDOW ?
Dragonfly Records
Popular Bootleg which first appeared around 1977/78 I think!
A favourite among collectors and quite accesable.

Side 1 : Auld Lang Syne / Interview Alan Douglas / Little Drummer Boy /
Silent Night / Mother Earth / Interview Paul McCartney

Side 2 : Burning of The Midnight Lamp / Can You Please Crawl out
Your Window / Driving South / Tobacco Rd

Auld Lang Syne/ Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night are the same
versions as the previously released and withdrawn christmas single'
from 1974. This is with The Band of Gypsys. Now currently available
through EXP Hendrix.
Burning of The Midnight Lamp / Please Crawl and Driving South from
Alexis Korner Rythym and Blues show from BBC 1967, all currently
available from EXP Hendrix BBC Sessions.
All the above are excellent quality recordings.
Mother Earth and Tobacco Rd are recorded at Ronnie Scotts Club in
London Sept 17th 1970 and are renowned as the Last Recorded sounds
of Jimi, just one day before he died.
It is a jam with Eric Burdon and War. The recording quality is poor
but the session is flowing.
There are 2 interviews the first with Alan Douglas talking about
the overdubbing takes for Midnight Lightning and Crash Landing.
The second and  most interesting is with Paul McCartney who seems to
be a little intoxicated at the time and I am not sure its alcohol. He gives
his opinions of Jimi to Alexis Korner.
Alexis Korner narrates at various stages and Part of " All Along The
Watchtower " from the Isle of  Wight concert is included also.
