Sephiroth was a top-ranking soldier officer, the most powerful and skilled fighter there ever was. Many people admired him. On his last mission, Sephiroth discovered that he had never had a proper family, that his mother, Jenova, died giving birth to him. He finds in the reactor a number of monsters that were once human. He sees one labeled as "Jenova" and is shocked. He begins to wonder if he was created in this same way, because of all of the power that he posesses. Later, he reads through an entire library to find out if he is right--and he is. He learned that he was created through something known as the Jenova Project, and Jenova was his mother. Discovering his true identity, he went into a fit of rage, destroying a city called Nibelheim and slaughtering all there, except for a band of heroes...one of these is called Cloud. After a struggle, Cloud threw Sephiroth into a nuclear reactor, and Sephiroth was reported as dead. Five years later, it was found out that Jenova's body was stolen from its capsule, and everyone else there was dead. The clue left behind was Sephiroth's sword, and given the fact that Sephiroth was the only one who could handle it, it must have been Sephiroth...but isn't he dead? Because of the alien energy inside him, when he was thrown into the reactor, he was saved by its power, and survived. He then controlled various apparitions of himself throughout the world to do his evil bidding, and to kill Cloud. His plan is to call a Meteor, one so powerful that it can destroy the earth. The only spell that can stop this is Holy, but the only person who knew the spell was killed by Sephiroth! Can Cloud and his friends stop the evil Sephiroth?? |
