LIVE ON TWO LEGS

At last a live album released from the band themselves, and at a time when such a boost was so badly needed by fans. Providing a reference to all aspects of the PJ catalog, Live... bundles up some fine tunes, recorded on fine form, and throws in a few surprises too. Although audience interaction is at a minimum (suggesting Eddie's discomfort with the destiny of the recording), the feeling behind the songs is always at its peak, and thankfully never lets up.
This not only provided fans with fresh blood, it also allowed the band to become more accessable to newcomers (or even bandwaggoners!). A good listen, and most certainly an essential for the Neil Young cover of F*ckin' Up and the cute precursor to MFC, called humbly Untitled .
