| The Scottish Premier
League's Under 21 league has replaced the old reserve league. This is as a result of the
SPL realising that there is a necessity to develop an effective framework for youth
development. Last season's Under 21 league was won by Hearts with Hibernian finishing in
second place. This site will be bringing you all the news from the Saint Mirren Under 21 team, as well as match reports and the thoughts of Joe McLaughlin. As well as the Under 21 league, the SPL runs leagues at under 18, 16, 15, 14 and 13 age levels. These leagues see Ross County, Stirling Albion, Clyde and Livingston joining the SPL clubs. These four teams were nominated by Craig Brown. St.Mirren do not run teams at Under 16 or 15. |
