| After driving the Cuda with its new tire combo I noticed it was rubbing a bit on corners. If I were running a radial it may have been fine but Ive decided Im going to add biiger wheel tubs from the quarter to the frame rail. Im also going to switch to a set of Moser axles. They will be stock A-body length, set up for B-body brakes and use a 4.75" GM bolt patern. I will also nee to have the B-body drums re-drilled for the GM bolt pattern,. Im sure your wondering, why the GM bolt patern ? I want to switch rims from my currant 5X4" bolt patern centerlines to a set of Weld Pro-Stars. I need a 15X10 and Id like to run 7.5" of backspacing to tuck the tires in more without having the rear shortend. These rims are only available with that backspacing in GM bolt patern. |
