History of my Fish
I bought my fish in October of 1997. It was owned by a friend of mine from high school. I had been working on a 69 Road Runner clone but wanted something else. the car was in great shape when I bought it. and I gladly paid the $3000 asking price.

The first thing I did to the car was replace the old rims and tires with a set of rallyes. The ca had a mis-matched set of slots and steelies on it so they had to go. The car then went to a friends body shop to have a dent in the front fender fixed. While cruising after school one day we had a slight run in with an Acura Integra. Luckily it was nothing bad but it never got fixed till I bought it. While it was at the shop it was buffed out and has a set of Formula S stripes installed.

For the next couple of years the car stayed pretty much the same. I did lots of little things to it guages, MSD box, rims and tires came and went and I did alot of stupid thing kids do to cars but nothing major.

In febuary on 1999 I moved from my home in CT to Long Island and the car came with me. My friends and I did alot of cruising with it but at 20 years old and living away from home I didnt have alot of money to spend on it. We moved back to CT in July of 2001, Buy this time the fish was started to rust bad. The salt air of the island was not kind to her.
I decided to start building a nice street strip car and wanted to do things right this time. The car got all new polly suspension in the front, New SuperStock 002/003 springs and long shocks in the rear and a line lock and drive shaft loop. I also added a 3" exhaust from TorgueTech. Things were started to look up for my old friend.

I was just about to but a 396 stroker for the car when my friend told me his brother wanted to sell his 70-440 Cuda for a good price. It was the car of my dreams and it ran mid 12s all day long. I ended up selling my fish to my father who wanted to relive the past and bought the 70. In the 2 years I ownd the fish I met my wife Michelle and we were expecting our first child. On Oct 22 2004 my son Jacob Adam was born. It was the greatest day of my life. It was also the day I sold the 70 Cuda.I knew I would miss it but I dont regret selling it to help my family.

Becuase my Father had gone threw the same thing selling his 68 Pontiac Lemans 350 HO ( thats a pretty rare car by the way) he gave back my 69 Barracuda. I got the car running and started driving it again. It rides much nicer then the E body and its nice to not be sitting on the floor. But after sitting for 2 years I have alot of work ahead of me so follow along as my 69 Barracuda get the attention it deserves.
