At the post-award reception, Jacelyn said," So many things have happened earlier and there are times in Beijing when I felt very very lonely. I was there for two months and I was the only Singaporean. You learn to be very independent when you're by yourself overseas. You learn to be strong. When I feel lonely though, I'd play music  really, really loud. So much so that my co-star would ask me if I'm deaf. It's been quite exciting coming back and meeting my friends and colleagues. Everyone's coming up to me and saying,' You're doing very well.' So I say," Thank You". As to how long she'll take to repay her debts, she said she has no idea.("perhaps 3-5 yrs"). She joked," Or maybe I'll get a really good movie deal next year which would solve my problems."
