1.Reground Camshaft from Delta Camshaft. www.deltacam.com. My cam is the street performance camshaft. Specs are 203'@.050x.450 lift at the valve. Cost was $125 and required no modification to work.
2. Ported Heads. I ported them myself with some carbide cutting bits for my digrinder. Took a couple weeks but was well worth it.
3. Ported Allante Intake. Not only did I upgrade to the Allante intake which flows better I also port matched it to the heads.
4. Full 2.5" exhaust with custom crossover pipe. I used the stock exhaust manifolds and created my own crossover pipe similar to the stock V6 Fiero crossover pipe. It dumps in the same location as the factory V6 crossover pipe. I then made my own 2.5" mandral bent exhaust into a Flowmaster 80 series muffler. Sounds awesome!
5. MSD Distributor cap/rotor for HEI Distributor. Bolts directly onto the Cadillac engine. I also have a MSD HEI coil and MSD 8.5mm wires.
6. ZEX Nitrous kit with a 100HP shot. Have yet to use it. Still being somewhat easy on the engine since the complete rebuild.
My winter project is to design some custom headders for my 4.9. The factory headders are a major restriction. I plan on making some equal length headders to inprove flow and cut down on the restrictions to gain some more power at higher RPM. Combined with the freer flowing intake manifold, ported heads and aftermarket camshaft they should add a good ammount of power to the 4.9. I'll post some pictures as soon as I have some.
