The Third annual Cape Town Fashion Week will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from August 10-13, 2005!

Mustafa Hassanali Has been invited to showcase his collection for the pan african showcase show to be held on 12 August at 1600HRS He will be the first designer from Tanzania to showcase his work in Cape Town!

The Mediterranean Fashion Festival 2004 (MEDMODA 2004) was held in Caltanissetta , Sicily , italy From 27 and 28 October 2004! !

Tanzania's well known ,Designer Mustafa Hassanali was Invited to showcase at the Festival ! He was the Only Designer From Africa amongst Designers from TURKEY, BOSNIA, MACEDONIA, SERBIA, ITALY AND SLOVENIA!

Born in 1994 as a spring –board for all young stlylists,with time it has become the meeting point for different expressions of international fashion, it is a festival of different “races? whose stage has trasformed in as a “bridge?between the nations, linked together in name of beauy. The “MedModa?wants to continue on this way, becoming the place of “truce?and of “peace? not just “container?but its “content? not just the dresss, but the soul, the spirit it is in being dressed-up!

Mustafa Hassanali, Tanzania’s renowned fashion designer from 19 Oct to 27 Oct had been invited to be amongst the international panel of celebrity judges for the Miss World Ethiopia 2003 Pageant where by the newly crowned Beauty Queen, Hayat Ahmed Mohammed selected on 23 October Will participate in Miss world 2003 Pageant To be Held in Sanya in china on December 6!

Mustafa Hassanali was amongst the 12-Judging panel, which included, Dion Chang, Editor ELLE magazine South Africa! , Moira Tremaine, Director Kenya Fashion Week, Gordon Edwards, Music Producer from USA, Anna Getaneh, famous Ethiopian Model in south Africa and founder of Save Ethiopian Childr4ens fund! Others from Ethiopia included Ato Hapte sellasie, Founder of Ethiopian Beauty pageants, Ethiopian designers Genet kebede of Parardidegenfashions and Sara abera, and the interior decorator of the new Addis airport! Others included the representative from African Unity and Yemane kabaye

Not only was he judge but also all the 25 contestants paraded in Mustafa Hassanali Beach Wear collection during the grand final on 23 October at the Hilton Addis Ababa! Four contestants Hayat Ahmed, atetegeb, Sarah and hany were wearing exclusive Mustafa Hassanali evening gowns!!

World Renowned R & B singer Rejane Magloire (USA) was the guest singer and also the mistress of Ceremony; she wore a baby blue evening gown, a Mustafa Hassanali Original!

A well-known D J Olivier Gosseries From Belgium was flown in especially for the event! Ben Kaniaru, Kenyas Master of Ramp Choreography Was specially lon in to Choreograph the whole event!

The third annual Kenya Fashion Week took place at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi from June 6 to 8, 2003 with over 40 designers exhibiting their range of collections at twice daily shows at 1 pm and 5 pm. MUSTAFA HASSANALI WILL SHOWCASED HIS COLLECTION ON SUNDAY 8 june , 1300hrs!

Mustafa Hassanali represented Tanzania in this glitzy and glamorous event, and showcased his Fall 2003-2004 Collection.

The Game Show

Jackpot Bingo is a TV game show that gives away millions of Tanzanian Shillings in winnings. It is aired on ITV at 9pm every Sunday. The third episode, aired on February 23, saw the presenters and bingo girls wearing MUSTAFA HASSANALI originals. The look was contemporary Indian, a fusion of East and West. The girls were garbed in chiffon sarees with short tops and accessorised by exclusive Indian jewellery. PICTURES WILL BE POSTED SOON!

March 2 saw exclusive Mustafa Hassanali HAUTE COUTURE evening and cocktail gowns featured on the fourth episode of ITV's Jackpot Bingo. PICTURES WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

To usher the New Year 2003 with Pomp and festivity , The Le Grande Casino organised a treat for their clients by organising a fashion parade followed by a cocktail! The models sashayed the runway wearing MUSTAFA HASSANALI originals. The event was attended by the gliterati from the asian community!

The Serengeti Gold Ball

The Ball was held on September 27 and 28 at the New Africa Hotel. The event, held purely for charity, raised US$17,000. In addition, the auction of a picture frame signed by former South African President Nelson Mandela raised US$21,000. All the proceeds went to World Vision and Dogo Dogo Centre.

The hostesses for the night were the South African singing sensation, Yvonne Chakachaka, and Maria Sarungi of the Art 'n' Style: A Weekly Rendezvous with Culture program.

Among the guests were Theresa Solomon, the South African High Commisioner, as well as diplomats, Government officials, and personalities from the corporate world.

The Gold Jewellery Designing Competition

The Gold Jewelery designing Competition , a brain child of Kathi Clarke of Anglogold exploration Tanzania, comprised a theme of Four Elements; Earth, Water, Fire, Air, whereby the Fine Arts student of the University of Dar es Salaam participated. A 10 Kg of Gold was donated by Geita gold Mines for this Competition where the pure gold was turned into stunning designs , THE SERENGETI COLLECTION! Prizes for the top three winners included cash and an all-expenses-paid trip to the Republic of South Africa to attend a three-week designing course.
