| Phantom of the Opera: This is definitely a GREAT movie. It's not exactly a "guy" movie, but you can drag your boyfriend along if you want. :) Anywho, this is one of my favs! It's filled with music (of course) and the acting is good. Emmy Rossum--a young and talented actor--plays Christine. The story-line is gret but it would take me forever to explain it how I want here. So I'll make it short. Basically, there is a "phantom" in the Opera that falls in love with Christine. Christine, of course, loves someone else. Just go buy the movie! Star Wars III: A very sad movie. I won't give away all the details, but basically, the Sith Lord is going to try to take over again. The acting is okay, but to really understand the movie, you need to see the first 2. Hayden Christienian (I spelled his name wrong...) plays Annakin and Natalie Portman plays Padme. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong too!) Go see it! It's pretty good. |
| Switchfoot: This is one of the BEST CD's ever. Yes, they are Christian-but they don't force it on you. There's lots of variety in the songs, and the lyrics are good. They have a slightly humorous look on things for that lightening up your day might need. Four stars. Alicia Keys: I really like Alicia because she's different. She has a more "laid-back" sound, yet is had a good beat. Variety and good lyrics add to the CD's charm, plus several radio hits. I'd say Four stars. |

| How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: This is a hilarious mivie where you get to watch a girl drive her boyfriend nuts by doing all this annoying stuff! He doesn't break it off, to her regret, because he bet his friends he could get a girlfriend. (That's her) She is a "how-to" writer for a magazine and of course at the end... -Annelle (I cut off the end because you don't want to know the end of the story, right?? And if this is confusing--i know it sounds like it--go see the movie!! It really is good-I saw it. And Kate hudson is REALLY pretty, so ya. Have fun!! Emily) |
