| Idli Manchurian Ingredients Idli-3 Soya sauce-1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp Pepper powder-1 tsp Egg-1 Cornflour-1 tbsp Maida-1 tbsp Ajinomotto-a pinch (optional) Salt- to taste Oil- for deep frying For the sauce Onion chopped-3 tbsp Ginger chopped-1 tbsp Garlic chopped-2 tbsp Greenchilli chopped-2 Spring onion chopped-3 tbsp Capsicum chopped-1 tbsp Tomato sauce-2 tbsp Chilli sauce-2 tbsp Soya sauce- 1 tbsp Ajinomotto- a pinch (optional) Salt- to taste Oil- 2 tbsp Method 1.Cut the idlis into small cube size. 2.Mix together soyasauce,ginger-garlic paste pepper powder, egg, cornflour, maida, ajinomotto & salt. Make a smooth batter out of it. 3. Dip the idli cubes in this batter & fry in hot oil till crisp. Drain & keep it aside. 4. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wok. Add chopped onions, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chilli, chopped spring onions, chopped capsicum & fry for few minutes on high flame. 5. Now add all the sauces, ajinomotto & salt. 6.Now quickly stir in fried idli cubes & serve immediately. Otherwise the fried idli cubes will become soggy. |
