A VERTICAL PENTAGONAL PRISM MEETS THE PYRAMID SUCH THAT THEIR AXES COINCIDE, WHILE A FACE OF IT IS PARALLEL AND NEARER TO THE V.P. THE SIZE OF THE BASE OF THE PRISM IS 20.
(A) DRAW THE LINES OF INTERSECTIONS IN THE PROJECTIONS. [10 MARKS]
(B) DEVELOP THE CUT PYRAMID . [7 MARKS]
Q.2..................... A VERTICAL SQUARE PRISM , WITH BASE SIDE 60 HAS ONE OF ITS VERTICAL FACES INCLINED AT 300 TO THE V.P. IT IS COMPLETELY PENETRATED BY A CYLINDER OF DIAMETER 40, THE AXIS OF WHICH IS PARALLEL TO BOTH THE H.P. AND V.P. AND IS 8 AWAY FROM THE AXIS OF THE PRISM, TOWARDS THE OBSERVER.
