Operation: Overlord 2

For the second year in a row we are throwing a spirited event in tribute to the events that took place on June 6th 1944 when Allied forces from 12 various nations cast aside they're differences and fought togeather for a common good. This day was the largest sea-borne invasion in world history with aproximatly 326,000 soilders, sailors, and air crews participating. below is a ruff image of the feild to be used and location for the different scenarios we will be playing thoughout the day. click on an objective more information. I hope to see you all there.



Scenario #1
The Guns

American Pathfinders from the 82nd Arborne Division and French resistance with Maquis most move through the forest and destroy two Anti aircraft guns and mark the way for the main Airborne assualt.
The Allied forces have 1 1/2 hours to eliminate both the guns and all German troops in the area.

Scenario #2
The Spotter

British glider troops from the British 6th Airborne Division have landed just outside of a german fixed Observation position. This position can improve the AA fire of German units through out the area. in order to take down this position the radio and commanding officer must be eliminated
The Allies must complete both objectives within 2 hours

Scenario #3
The Counter Attack

Elements of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion have been dropped to close to the East of Caen. during the night they Contentrated them selves into pockets of defensive positions. Now a German attcking force is coming from Caen to push them out. The Paratroopers must hold out against the attack until relived from Allied units Otherwise the German garrison will be able to cut into the center of the allied advance.
The Allies must hold they're starting Towers and/or stay alive for 1 1/2 hours.

Scenario #4
The Beach

Allied forces commit a massive seaborne invision on the Nomandy coastline consisting of five beach heads,

  • SWORD: British 3rd Infantry Division
  • GOLD: Canadian 3rd Infantry Division
  • JUNO: British 50th Division and 8th Armoured Brigade
  • OMAHA: U.S. 1st Infantry Division
  • UTAH: U.S. 4th Infantry Division

The Allies must destroy the coastal defenses and move inland or the entire invasion is destine for failure

Scenario #5
The Mortors

Elements of the American 101st Airborne will assualt a small artillery position outside of Sainte-M�re-�glise.
The allies have one hour to destroy the guns. the Allies must destroy both mortors. The Axis must eliminate all Paratroopers and protect the guns.

Scenario #6
The Casino

The men of Commando Kieffer has moved from the Sword beach head inland to assualt the Heavily fortified Casino located in Ouistreham. This position is serveing as a pivitol Defensive position over the city's deep water port.
The allies must destroy all German troops defending the Casino. The allies will automatically have at least one respawn.

Where: Wargame room
7200 W. Hwy. SS Adell, Wisconsin 53001

Requirements: $10 entrance fee, Aged 15 years or over,
Waiver signed (with parental permission for under 18)

When: June 5th 2005 (weather Permitting)

Age: 15 - 18 requires full seal goggles and parental permissions. No AEC required, see below for over 18 eyewear restrictions

Eye Wear: Z87 or paintball certified, Wire Mesh approved



Limitations: Assualt Weapons = 0-400 fps, Sniper Weapons = 400-550 fps

Medic rules: You are allowed two patches before you must return to respawn point.

Kits: "I don't have a WW2 gun or uniform, can I still play?" Yes you can! this is being done in the sprirt of the event not a reanacment. Fitting the role is encouraged but is not a requirement
