What's with the names?!
Okay, when we decided to keep all the kitties, we had to name them. I was decsriibing them to a friend and I noted there was a black one, and white one, a grey and a patchy one. When I heard myself say "Apache" I liked it, and so did Doyle. I'd started looking up other American Indian names. We'd decided on the following, based on the descriptions:
Lakota: friend
Wapo: brave
Atakappa: Man-eater
Apache: fierce
Aren't they cute? :)
Wapo: apparently, she can nap anywhere.
