
A few examples of my own playing are offered for your perusal. These are not full-length versions, merely a few highlights. I hope you enjoy!
Sonata in G Minor = Giovanni Platti, a four movement Baroque piece originally written for flute. This is a transcription for soprano saxophone and piano. We have converted the arrangement into a harpsichord accompaniment. The example is from the IV movement.Fantasie = Heitor Villa-Lobos, a piece written soprano saxophone and chamber group originally. This version is for soprano saxophone and piano from the I movement.
Improvisation II = Ryo Noda, a piece for solo alto saxophone. It uses multiphonics and other techniques to emulate the sound of a shakuhachi flute.

Adagio et Rondo = Jean-Baptiste Singelee, a favorite composer of Adolphe Sax's. Sax used this piece with his students at the Paris Conservatory. The example is from the last part of the Rondo section.
