A little activity and some good news.
Belle has had her first Chemo, CISPLATIN, this
past week. Nine
radiation treatments down, four more to go and
then she can finally
come home. She's been getting weekend visits from
"the 'rents". My
wife has her this weekend. What luck, got a hotel
room in Auburn on
a home football weekend! Belle's not quite as
energetic this week
as two weeks ago and her appetite is off. The grad
students say she
is still eating well so I am not sure if it's the
change in
lifestyle during the weekend or because she knows
that she can play
us for grilled chicken from the local restaurants.
Either way,
she's been through enough she can have it if she
wants.
