Shepard, USS- The Shepard was under the command of Capt Clampett in 2286. The Shepard was carrying a sample of a virus when the probe disabled the ship. Over half the crew was infected. (TVH) Name from script some have claimed the vessel was an Oberth Class.
Shika Maru, USS- The Shika Maru was under the command of Capt Silvestri. In the 23rd Century, the Shika Maru encountered a Tamarian vessel, but could not communicate with it. (TNG Darmok)
Shimoda, USS- The Shimoda was part of the Federation Fleet that engaged the Borg at Wolf 359 in 2366. (STWT)
Shirkahr, USS- Registry NCC-31905. Miranda Class. In 2374, the Shirkahr was destroyed at the 1st Battle of Chin�toka. (DS9 Tears of the Prophets)
Silversides, USS- Marla Finn previously served on the vessel. (TNG Eye of the Beholder)
Singh, USS- Akira Class. The Kali and the USS Singh were trapped behind Cardassian lines when they were trying to evacuate a Bajoran colony. (DW)
Sitak, USS- Miranda Class. In 2374, the Sitak was destroyed in the Battle to Retake DS9. (DS9 Sacrifice of Angels)
Skylark, USS- In 2369, the Skylark was docked at Starbase 212. (TNGN Guises of the Mind)
Slisha, USS- Tellarites manned the Slisha. (TNGN The Captain�s Honor)
Sloane, USS- Steamrunner Class. The Sloane was under the command of Capt Don Walsh. In 2375, the Sloane was sent to protect the USS Da Vinci, while the Da Vinci repaired a communications relay. The Sloane fought against Dominion Forces that tried to destroy the relay. (SCE VI: War Stories)
Solaris, USS- The Solaris was part of the Federation Fleet that engaged the Borg at Wolf 359 in 2366. (STWT)
Sovereign, USS- Registry NCC-75000. Sovereign Class. Class ship. The Sovereign was under the command of Capt Tejeda. In 2376, Adm Nechayev was on the vessel. The Sovereign went to the Pellean System to meet with the USS Enterprise to drop off Adm Nechayev. The Sovereign went to Persephone V with the Enterprise to evacuate the refugees. The Sovereign and the Enterprise went to Starbase 393. (TNGN Genesis Wave I, TNGN Genesis Force) The Sovereign docked at Starbase 302. (TNGN Genesis Wave II) In 2378, the Dauntless protected the ship from Romulan warbirds in the Tevron System. Later that year, the Sovereign was able to repay the Dauntless back by protecting it from renegade Cardassian forces. (BC) The Sovereign played a major role in the Kessok Incident. (SCIII Manual)

Sparta, USS- In 2360, Cadet Jenna D�Sora took her midshipman cruise on the USS Sparta. (SC: W)
Spector, USS- Registry NCC-65549. Akira Class. In 2374, the Spector led the task force that retook the hijacked USS Prometheus. (VOY Message in a Bottle, Fact Files) The Fact Files identified the Unknown Akira Class as the USS Spector with the registry as NCC-63549, which is the Thunderchild�s, who has the NCC-65549. So they are just switched.
Springfield, USS- Registry NCC-1963. In 2293, the Springfield was on neutral zone when it was considered as a participant in Operation Retrieve. (TUC)
