Roderick, USS- The Roderick was a destroyer being built at Starbase 12, overseen by Capt Batesman. In 2372, the Roderick was renamed in honor of the USS Bozeman. (TNGN Ship of the Line)
Rodger Young, USS- Defender Class. In 2268, the Rodger Young greeted the Enterprise, when the Enterprise came back from testing the inversion drive. (TOSN The Wounded Sky)
Ronald D. Moore, USS- Registry NCC-70564. Galaxy Class. The Ronald Moore was docked at DS9. (DS9 2001 Calendar) Name and Registry from Authors. Class visually identified. The registry is too low to fit in the Galaxy Class scheme. I speculate that the USS Moore was a pathfinder vessel that was commissioned at the dawn of the Dominion War.
Roosevelt, USS- Registry NCC-2573. Excelsior Class. In 2366, the Roosevelt was destroyed at the Battle of Wolf 359. Dr Riley Frazier was assigned to the vessel, when she was assimilated. (VOY Unity)
Rubicon, USS- Registry NCC-72936. Danube Class. In 2372, Dax and Keiko O�Brien to explore the Tempest used the Rubicon. The Rubicon got lost until rescued by the USS Defiant. (DS9N Tempest) Dr Bashir and Chief O�Brien conducted a survey in the Bopak System, when the Rubicon crashed on the third planet. They found a marooned Jem�hadar team on the planet. Rutledge, USS- Registry NCC-57295. New Orleans Class. In 2346, Miles O�Brien was assigned to the USS Rutledge. In 2347, the Rutledge fought at the Battle of Setlik III. During the Cardassian Wars, the Rutledge was under the command of Captain Maxwell. (TNG The Wounded, SC: W, DS9 Emissary N, DS9N MG: Lesser Evil) In 2373, the Tecumseh and the USS Rutledge attacked the Klingon forces in the Archanis Sector. (DS9 Nor the Battle to the Strong)
St. Lawrence, USS- Danube Class. In 2376, the St. Lawrence was supposed to take Ambassadors Spock and Worf to Narendra III, but Spock took over the runabout. Later, Colonel Kira took the vessel to Slaybis IV, but the IKS Gorkon found the runabout and captured the vessel. (The Brave and the Bold Bk 2)

Sagan, USS- The Sagan was a science vessel. In 2369, the Sagan went and explored the outer part of the Dyson sphere with another science vessel. The Sagan left behind buoys. (TNGN Dyson Sphere)
Sagittarius, USS- Norway Class. The Sagittarius was near Starbase 51. The Sagittarius was ordered to assist the USS Gryphon. (DS9N MG: Lesser Evil)
Saladin, USS- Saladin Class. Class Vessel. (TWOK, TSFS)
Saladin, USS- Nebula Class. The Saladin was under the command of Capt. Harlock. In 2369, the Saladin was declared missing with all hands lost. (TNG Descent N)
Saladin, USS � Defiant Class. Registry NCC-74350. In 2375, the Saladin was under the command of Capt Shinoda. The Saladin was part of Starfleet/Klingon patrol. They battled a Jem�hadar Task Force. Capt Shinoda was killed in the battle and Comdr Julia Riviera took command. The Saladin was damaged in the battle and got repaired at Brakrii Shipyard. (TDW Safe Harbor)
San Francisco, USS- Registry NCC-74780. Galaxy Class. The San Francisco was under the command of Captain Eina Zeiss. In 2378, the San Francisco was part of the Federation Fleet that took on Legate Matan. (BC)
Sao Paulo, USS-Registry NCC-75633. Defiant Class. In 2375, the Sao Paulo was under the command of Admiral Ross for delivery to DS9. The Sao Paulo was under the command of Capt Benjamin Sisko afterwards. The Sao Paulo received special discompensation to be renamed from USS Sao Paulo to the USS Defiant.
