Raven, USS- Registry NAR-32450. In 2354, the Borg attacked the Raven and the Hansen family was assimilated. The Raven was on a scientific mission. Later, the Raven crashed on a Class-M Planet in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY Raven, Dark Frontier)
Raymond Z. Gallun, USS- In 2370, the Raymond Gallun was part of the Federation Task Force sent to fight Hera in the Heran War. The Raymond Gallun was destroyed. (TNG Infiltrators)
Recovery, USS- The Recovery was designed by Dr Myron Shulman, with input from Dr Leonard McCoy and Admiral James Kirk. The Recovery was a rescue vessel. In 2271, the Recovery was commissioned under the command of Myron Shulman. The Recovery took part in a simulation involving the USS Paladin and the USS Starhawk at Zotos IV Science Station. The Tholian vessel, Skotha, the IKS Fury of the Klingon Empire, and a Romulan warbird were spectators. Shulman was captured and the Tholians implanted a device into his brain. Shulman went into a jealous rage of Adm Kirk and fired on the Paladin. The Recovery fired on the Starhawk and destroyed the Romulan warbird. The Recovery set a course for Tholian space. The Paladin and the Fury went after the vessel. The Skotha was able to stop the Recovery with the Paladin nearby. The Recovery fired on both vessels, the Skotha by accident. The Tholians took control on the Recovery, but the Klingons intervened. The Tholian�s plan was discovered and the Klingons boarded the ship. The Fury and the Paladin destroyed the Recovery. Reliant, USS- Registry NCC-1864. Miranda Class. The Reliant was under the command of Capt. Clark Terrell. Comdr Chekov was assigned to the Reliant as Executive Officer. (TWOK, N, TCT Kirk Biography) The Reliant visited the planet, Halka, and defended the planet against an attack by an Orion vessel. (TLE The Sundered) In 2285, the Reliant was assigned to help the Regula Space Station. Khan hijacked the Reliant in his attempts to take the Genesis torpedo and kill Admiral Kirk. Class is from the Star Trek Encyclopedia. In the script, the ship was a battered Enterprise Class of different configuration. In fandom, it is an Avenger Class.
