Lexington, USS- Registry NCC-14427. Excelsior Class. In 2342, the Lexington was sent to Altair IV for the presidential inauguration. A coup de�Etat was staged and Lexington crewmembers were killed. In 2345, Declan Keogh was assigned to the vessel as Chief Security Officer. Curzon Dax was on the vessel enroute to a diplomatic conference with the Antedeans. Leyte Gulf, USS- Registry NCC-71427. Akira Class. In 2377, the Leyte Gulf was under the command of Capt Jurai. The Leyte Gulf was transporting Klingon scientists from the Klingon base Lak�tral when it was infected by an unknown biological agent. The USS Incursion found the ship adrift. Starfleet salvaged the ship, but a mutiny happened and Capt Jurai was killed. The mutineers were trying to take the ship to the Romulan base Chetzia III. (STAT)
Liberator, USS- Registry NCC-67016. In 2366, the Liberator was destroyed at the Battle of Wolf 359. (The Art of Star Trek) Registry and name from a damaged shuttle.
Lillehammer, USS- Norway Class. In 2374, the Lillehammer was a part of the Task Force sent to retake the Setlik System from the Dominion. The Lillehammer was destroyed in the opening act of the battle. (SCE VI: War Stories)
Lionheart, USS- In 2378, the Lionheart was under the command of Capt. Thomas Wittbeck. (BC)
Lincoln, USS- Intrepid Class. In 2376, the Lincoln was under the command of Capt Vance Newport. The Lincoln was escorting two freighters to Cardassia, when the vessel encountered the �Enigma Ship�. The Lincoln was sucked into the vessel. Crewmembers from the USS Da Vinci were able to free the Lincoln. (SCE VI: Enigma Ship)
Livingston, USS- Registry NCC-34099. Excelsior Class. In 2355, Ens Ben Sisko was on leave from the Livingston. (TLE Deny Thy Father) Ben Sisko met Curzon Dax, while serviing on the Livingston. (DS9 Invasive Procedures) In 2368, Lt Burgoyne was assigned to the vessel. The Livingston went after a Starfleet probe that went haywire in the Damiano System. (NF NL Oil and Water) In 2371, the Livingston went to Argelius II to drop off Burgoyne. (NF NL Through the Looking Glass) In 2378, the Livingston was in service. (SC III) Name mentioned. Lovell, USS- Daedalus Class. The Lovell was decommissioned and then recommissioned into the Starfleet Corps of Engineers. The Lovell was under the command of Capt Daniel Okagawa. The Lovell discovered a Klingon scout that crashed on a planet. In 2263, the Lovell was sent rescue the crew of Outpost 5. In 2268, the Lovell was sent to assist in helping the societal computer at Beta III. Later the Lovell was assigned to assist the Kelvan colony at New Kelva. (SCE V: Foundations)
Lovell, USS- Oberth Class. The Lovell was under the command of Capt. Zedane Blackwood. (STI) The ship was originally the USS Developer until the writers changed it.
Luna, USS- Luna Class. In 2372, the Luna was launched from Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards under the command of Capt Fujikawa. Dr Ra-Havreii was on the vessel for the shakedown voyage. An explosion in the Luna heavily damaged the vessel. (TTN Taking Wing, TTN The Red King)
Lydia Sutherland, USS- In 2264, the ship was damaged beyond repair at Ghigothe under the command of Comdr James Kirk. (TOSN Enterprise: First Adventure, NF NL Performance Appraisal) When the vessel was destroyed, Starfleet Command did not pursue to court martial him. (TVH N)
