Jefferson Randolph Smith, USS- Sulek Class. The Jefferson Randolph Smith was a resource exploratory vessel. The Jefferson Randolph Smith was under the command of Capt Tatyanna Trofimar. In 2268, the vessel detected dilithium deposits on Diredi. A computer malfunction forced the crew to abandon the ship. The vessel went to and found the USS Enterprise. The vessel went back to the planet. (TOSN How Much For Just the Planet?) The registry was outrageously large with NCC-29402, which I omitted from the entry.
Jenolen, USS- Registry NCC-2010. Sydney Class. In 2294, the Jenolen was declared lost. The Jenolen was enroute to the Norpin Colony carrying Montgomery Scott. The Jenolen crashed on a Dyson Sphere killing everyone except Montgomery Scott and Ens. Matt Franklin. The Enterprise-D found the Jenolen in 2369 and rescued Montgomery Scott. Ens. Franklin later died. The Jenolen was used to rescue the stranded Enterprise-D. The Jenolen, under the command of Lt. Comdr Geordi La Forge, was used to rescue the stranded Enterprise-D. The Jenolen was destroyed in the escape. John Muir, USS- Registry NCC-1732. The John Muir was one of the vessels that was considered for the Operation Retrieve fleet. The John Muir was at Starbase 24 undergoing an upgrade in 2293. (TUC) Name and registry from computer graphic.
Jonathan Levy, USS- The Jonathan Levy was a science vessel that was one of the most active explorers in Starfleet. The Jonathan Levy did a small survey of Domarus IV. (TNGN Perchance to Dream)

Juno, USS- Excelsior Class. In 2378, the Juno was under the command of Capt Jill Leeden. The Juno was assigned to recover the bodies from the derelict starships at the battleground of Rashanar. The Juno was attacked by the Androssi and collided with a derelict Klingon Attack Cruiser. The ship was heavily damaged in the attack. The Juno was destroyed in battle against the Ontailians. Jupiter, USS- Registry NCC-71627, Akira Class. The Jupiter was under the command of Capt Satelk in 2376. The Jupiter helped the USS Enterprise and the USS Premonition defeat the Borg. (STA)
