(TNG Descent) In 2371, Lt Aiden Thorn was the Chief Science Officer. The Gorkon discovered a derelict vessel and Lt Thorn went on the away team. (TOSN The Lost Years) The Grissom was under the command of Capt JT Estaban in 2285. The Grissom, a science vessel, was investigating the Genesis Planet when a Klingon Bird of Prey destroyed the vessel. (TSFS) Ambassador Sarek mentioned the Grissom, when he was answering to the Klingon Ambassador�s charges in 2286. (TVH, N) In TSFS, Grissom was considered a scout class vessel by Kirk. Katrina Mueller was able to develop a new way to track the Romulans. Afterwards, the Grissom went to Starbase 65. The Grissom, previously, faced a Romulan warbird under the command of Tomalak. The Grissom docked at Starbase 27 to interview Comdr Calhoun for the XO position. Comdr Calhoun came aboard at the station. The Grissom helped fight against Orion raiders. The Grissom was sent to the Anzibar system to negotiate a peace between two warring races. The Grissom went to Anzibar IV first to talk with the Dufaux. The negotiators were killed, who were Capt Kenyon�s brother and daughter. The Grissom went to Anzibar II to talk with the Carvargna. Capt Kenyon tried to arm the Carvargna with weapons against the Dufaux, but the Grissom was called off to the Romulan Neutral Zone. At the RNZ, the Grissom broke up a Orion-Romulan Alliance. The Grissom went back to Anzibar under false orders and help the Carvargna Alliance defeat the Dufaux Fleet. Capt Kenyon wanted to extract revenge, and when he found out that killing the Dufaux leader himself, was not enough, Capt Kenyon killed himself. Comdr Calhoun became a hero afterwards. Gryphon, USS- Akira Class. In 2376, the Gryphon brought the USS Defiant�s new nose section from Starbase 375. (DS9N S31: Abyss) The Gryphon will take the Defiant�s assignment of protecting Deep Space Nine, instead of the USS Mjolnir. The Gryphon was under the command of Capt Mello. The Gryphon escorted the refugee convoys from Bajor. (DS9N MG: Twilight)The Gryphon was docked at Deep Space Nine for the Bajoran Conference. Afterwards, the Gryphon was going on a two-day patrol with First Minister Shakaar as a passenger. (DS9N MG: This Gray Spirit) he Gryphon was sent to do a sensor sweep near Trill for any vessels carrying Shakaar�s assassin. The first officer of the Gryphon was actually a host to a parasitic species wanting to seek revenge on the Trill. Col Kira was able to help stop the vessel and the XO.
