The Enterprise fought against the Fury ship, Rath. The Enterprise tried to negotiate with the Fury, but that was unsuccessful. The Enterprise was ordered to investigate the Tautee System, because a Federation science team had lost contact. The Enterprise discovered an energy rift has opened and destroyed a few planets. The Enterprise fought against the Klingon vessels that arrived in the system, believing to be a new Federation weapon. The Enterprise went into the Tautee System with the USS Farragut to rescue the survivors of a Tautee science outpost. The Enterprise was damaged, but brought the survivors back to Starbase 11. (TOSN The Rings of Tautee) The Enterprise was transporting Commissioner Nancy Hedford to the Epsilon Canaris III to mediate a peace agreement, when the shuttlecraft carrying Kirk, McCoy, and Hedford are pulled to the Gamma Canaris region. They find that Dr Zefram Cochrane, the inventor of warp drive, was still alive. The Enterprise was able to come and rescue Kirk and McCoy, but Hedford, who was dying of Sakuro�s Disease, merged with the Companion entity. (TOS Metamorphosis, TOSN Federation) The Enterprise transported diplomats to the Babel Conference, when a murder takes place. It was soon found out that the Orions are trying to stop the conference. The Enterprise battled an Orion vessel. (TOS Journey to Babel, TOSN Federation) Afterwards, the Enterprise was sent on a mission to the Gamma Canaris region to find the hijacked SS City of Utopia Planitia. The Enterprise discovered that Zefram Cochrane was missing from the Companion�s planetoid and taken on the hijacked liner. The Enterprise stopped and rescued the kidnapped crew and passengers on the liner. Three Klingon battlecruisers attacked the Enterprise and the Enterprise fled to TNC 65813, a black hole. The Enterprise was attacked in the black hole�s event horizon and Cochrane gets caught in the black hole in a shuttlecraft. The Enterprise was able to escape when the USS Enterprise from the future helped. The USS Excalibur and the USS Lexington to Neural III towed the Enterprise. (TOSN Federation) The Enterprise went to the planet, Modala, to observe the inhabitants. Capt Kirk beamed down and got up in the revolution on the planet. Capt Kirk introduced the idea of democracy.
