My Pledge to My Family

Because nothing means more to me than the health and happiness of my family, I hereby pledge to fulfill each of the following promises to the best of my ability.

Drew and Raeghan, Dad promises to:

Wake you each morning with a soft voice and gentle touch, to make getting up as pleasant as possible.

To be involved in everything that you do, giving support and assistance whenever they are needed.

Never let you go hungry, and even have a few goodies besides. :-)

Be a champion of fairness.

Be overjoyed at your achievements, no matter how small, and offer tons of praise.

Help you to know God and speak to Him often.

Help you to think of others.

Help you to become a good people and good citizens.

Discipline you when its appropriate, so that you will know right from wrong.

Take you to the park, or wherever, and to always have time to play.

Provide a loving embrace and a compassionate ear when you are hurt or discouraged.

Put you to bed each night with prayer, a hug, and a goodnight kiss.

And above all else, I promise to love you both unconditionally, with all my heart, each and every day of my life.
