Dean's Blog
Passion.
*sniff* *sniff*
Recently, I was reading a blogger who mentioned seeing a video on YouTube that made her cry (personally, I watched it, and couldn't make pass the first minute or so, some woman reciting [poorly] her own version of "poetry" about what an aweful mother she was or something). The post reminded me of a couple of videos that caused my waterworks to kick-in. So, I thought I'd make a record of them here.

The first one is a little girl in Britain's version of "America's Got Talent". Her name is Connie Talbot, and she is six yrs old. I don't know what I was expecting, but as soon as the first note leaves her tiny little mouth, I nearly burst into tears. It's like it causes some sort of primal response in me or something. It's totally bizarre, but since half the audience also seems to be crying; I'm not too concerned.

Yep [sniff], still does it to me. [sniff]

The second video is sort of a "human video" taken at a concert. The first time I started to watch it, I wasn't impressed and kick part-way through. Later, after someone forwarded to me, I gave it another shot. And, I don't know, maybe I was in sour mood the firs time or something. But as I watched it this time, I was drawn in, and when it builds to a crescendo (when you see it, you'll know what I mean), I get all misty-eyed.
