1929 John Deere D
The governor, like most engine parts, was totally frozen up with rust. It was hard to
even figure out where to start taking it apart. Several Mapp gas
torches were required to loosen up the rust and get the parts moving. My
neighbor, Bill Carter, was very helpful in repairing or remaking parts
during the restoration. |
