Here is my 1949 FArmall C.
It came with a loader, new idea hay rake, another parts rake, notched disks, and 2 way land plows, all for $800, not too bad as this was our first purchase... (we got the cub and H for FREE!!!)
I know it looks dumb with the two different head
lights, but for the price of them, who cares! Maybe you do, but I sure don't!!!
I use this tractor for pretty much everything, i use the forks, (which with the BUCKET only taken off, there are forks underneath) for cleaning out our goat/sheep barn, and picking up logs, trees, including pulling them down and hitting myself in my head, ouch!!!! oh well, leasson learned.... i also use this for mowing hay once in a while. I also use this for skidding trees sometimes. The most this gets used is during the winter for plowing snow.
We put a 12V alternator on it because of the lights, and it is just a bit easier for starting with a 12V during the cold days. (-30F) We had put in a new throughout bearing, well actually our NAPA didn't have the right one, but they had some that were half the length, so we used 2 bearings, works perfect now. WE have had one of the bucket pistons rebuilt, and this summer i am planning on rebuilding the other one, because it also leaks. I also put another set of rear weights on it for the winter, and now it plows great with the set of semi chains I have on it, and it also helped me with traction going up hill with a bucket load of dirt.
